How do you do a screen shot in a Mac?

I have a customer who needs help and he's using a mac and I know nothing about macs.

So I want him to do a screen shot of what his problem is and email it to me, but I dont know if macs have a Prnt Scrn button and a wordpad or paint program you can paste into.

thanks

* Command-Shift-3: Take a screenshot of the screen, and save it as a file on the desktop
* Command-Shift-4, then select an area: Take a screenshot of an area and save it as a file on the desktop
* Command-Shift-4, then space, then click a window: Take a screenshot of a window and save it as a file on the desktop
* Command-Control-Shift-3: Take a screenshot of the screen, and save it to the clipboard
* Command-Control-Shift-4, then select an area: Take a screenshot of an area and save it to the clipboard

Those be them...

Actually in this instance OS X does a much better job at feature implementation. The control you get over screen shotting different aspects of the screen rather than just the entire thing is fantastic.

I use it every day for screen shotting dev stuff to send out to the team I manage

You can also go to /Applications/Utilities/Grab.app if you can't remember all of the commands. You can take screen caps from the app itself.
