I went to apple store again for a appt cause my CrapPhone was showing like 39% battery then shutting off and the guy told me the CrapPhone wasnt reading it right and bla bla...

Anybody condition there CrapPhones? He told me let it drain dead.... wait 1-5 hrs then fully juice it it up... so the battery "remembers" and do this once a month...

How am I gonna fit this into my busy schedule?

FYI: Beside this I love the Iphone this coming from a die hard blackberry user for years.

you should always condition batteries in any rechargeable device

from the very first time you use it

may take some time - but it is always a good thing

I never have problems with batteries - always enjoy full life

conditioning is a fact - just do it

I never do crap with mine and so far so good. the worst thing about the iphone for me is it loses a few aps everytime i switch computers.

That was a holdover from the old nicad style batteries which would develop "memory" if not fully discharged and charged every so often.

Newer style li-ion batteries don't have that problem.

So they say, it is still good practice to fully charge any new battery powered tool, toy or gadget for a solid 24 hours before use.

My old laptop had its battery fully loaded the whole time.
Now, the battery life of this thing is about 5 minutes. It's reloaded after half an hour and will last - 5 minutes.

Conditioning is important.

i generally do this a bunch of times at the start of a device life. Use it all the way down... then juice all the way back up... repeat a bunch of times. Kinda like when I get a new car. I drive it different at the start then I do once I have 40k+ miles on it.
