Main difference is that with Godaddy, you don't have to renew or reg big portfolio.
7,19$ works for ANYONE, you can get 1 domain for that price, not 200.

Also if you buy domain + same name with different TLDs you'll get huge discounts.

Namecheap felt asleep and can't wake up.
250$ for expired domain regain (80$ at Godaddy)
250$ price limit for domain market? WTF.
Namecheap can't work with special characters with names and while pushing domain to another account, they won't push whoisguard.

I don't say Godaddy is best, they got fair prices, their well known weak support is getting better each time I contact them.
Moniker is fine, Name.com is fine.

So why the fuck should I use namecheap?
That $8.81 price works for 1 domain at namecheap, you don't need a big portfolio to get that price. The "golddeal" coupon is for 50+ domains in your account. They have a monthly coupon that gives you the 8.81 pricing as well, it's just when you have 50+ domains they give you that code so you don't have to search for coupons anymore. For example, October's namecheap coupon is "getmecheaper". Last month it was "dreamtime". Both of those work for the purchase of a single domain or 200 domains.

Yes, you can push the whoisguard when you push a domain, I have done it. It asks you when you push the domain if you want to push the whoisguard as well. I've never been able to push the whoisguard at Godaddy tho.

Namecheap's auto renew works very well, if you keep track of your domains and don't let them expire you won't have any problems. Never had a problem with it.

Godaddy is a fucking horrible registrar. Namecheap's regular price is much better than Godaddy's regular price. Godaddy will also yank your domain registration for lots of reasons, including taking down your domain for 1 spam complaint, after which you must pay $199 to get your domain back. Their interface is atrocious, five pages of ads and add-ons before you can checkout? There are tons of horror stories with Godaddy, you can start at www.nodaddy.com and search google if that doesn't convince you.

Godaddy is also not the cheapest, so if you're going strictly on price, you can find a cheaper registrar. If you're not going strictly on price, there are better registrars out there.

So, why the fuck would you register with Godaddy?

If you update your address or phone number in whois, godaddy locks the domain and you can't transfer it out for 60 days which is against ICANN regulations but they do it anyways.

Private whois guard at namecheap is free. It costs extra at Godaddy.

Regular domain pricing without coupon:
.com Namecheap 9.69 Godaddy 10.69
.net NC 9.69 GD 12.99
.org NC 9.69 GD 14.99
.us NC 8.88 GD 19.99
.eu NC 11.44 GD 14.99
.info NC 2.98 GD 10.69
.biz NC 9.69 GD 14.99

The only reason to use Godaddy is their auction site and 99 cent .info domains

CYF, why you compare final NAMECHEAP price to GODADDYs price for newbies?

Compare Namecheap vs. Godaddy but both with coupons, I don't care for prices set for lame ppl.

Moniker, Godaddy, Name.com Dynadot, all are better then Namecheap.

If you somehow let your domain expire, you'll pay 80$ at Godaddy to regain it. Same stuff costs 250$ at Namecheap.

Namecheap overslept past few years.

Why the fuck are you letting your domain expire? That's an amateur move dude. With automatic renewal and multiple expiration notices there's no excuse for that. I don't give a shit about expired domain fees because I don't let my domains expire.

Did you miss my point about Godaddy shutting off domains for 1 complaint? $199 to get it turned back on, who else does that?? 1 complaint for spam, 1 complaint for CP, 1 complaint about a compromised server hosting a phishing site, whether there is evidence or not, and your domain is FROZEN until you pay $199 to them. You want to take that risk? Because I sure don't.

Godaddy is notorious for DELETING YOUR REGISTRATION if they get 1 complaint about fake whois info. NO ONE ELSE DOES THAT.

I have a Godaddy account to use their auction site, that's all I use it for. I have a grand total of four domains there. After the 60 day hold is up they all get moved elsewhere. All my other domains are at Namecheap, Dynadot, Moniker and name.com. All of those are better than Godaddy. No way in hell is Godaddy better than Namecheap.

Why are you sticking up for godaddy? You're either a newbie or you just don't know better. There are lots of better registrars than godaddy, so you're obviously not going on quality. And there are cheaper places as well.

Expiration happens. I let expire domains I want to expire but this shit happens sometimes.

Namecheap is way outdated in matters of prices. For 10 domain owner like you, it doesn't matter but there are people with more domains then you have.

So pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease, write one thing that's better at namecheap comparing to other registrars!!!

Oh, I forgot, last time i was using Namecheap was when their system crashed on regular bases and it took about 15 minutes to pay for domain. They didn't give a fuck and didn't fixed this for MORE THEN MONTH so I've transfered all my domains elsewhere.

And yeah, I forgot, huge advantage of Namecheap is how they handle special characters in contact info. Fucking awesome. Namecheap cocks probably never heard that there are countries outside US with different language then english.

I have hundreds of domains, not 10. And I've never let a domain expire.

One thing? Dude, I posted LOTS of reasons why godaddy sucks. Did you read it? How about this: Namecheap will not delete your domain for 1 invalid whois complaint, Godaddy will. Read my other posts, there are lots of reasons not to use godaddy.

This is like debating with a brick wall.

CYF - if there's any brickwall than it's you.

You didn't tell many disadvantages of Godaddy, just one.

I've never told Godaddy is best registrar. It's just No.1 in numbers so shit happens more often there. Shit happens also at Moniker and Moniker is known to be secure registrar.

Godaddy got fair prices for some TLDs.
Moniker got fair prices for some TLDs and is reliable and quite secure
Dynadot got good prices for some TLDs, they also got tasting
Name got good prices for some TLDs but renewals are more expensive.

Crap namecheap got absolutelly nothing, they've got higher prices and crap renewal policy.

Also they got shit stuff too:
http://www.webmasterinter.net/2009/0...lt-webmasters/

Namecheap has nothing to offer. That's why cock like you never replied to this: "So pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease, write one thing that's better at namecheap comparing to other registrars!!!

bbwdollars: Are you liar or nuts?

Namecheap and Godaddy BASE prices are mostly equal. But godaddy got huge discount coupons that Namecheap doesn't have (got very few, almost none renewal coupons).

Stop bullshit.

This thread was just about discount coupon that is FOR PEOPLE WHO USE GODADDY (and they know why). If they use Godaddy then they save decent $ with this coupon

This thread isn't about Namecheap.

I've never wrote Godaddy is best (as it isn't).

As I wrote before, i just don't see reason to use Namecheap as there are cheaper and more reliable registrars.

So CYF & BBWdollars, go cure your complexes elsewhere

A cock like me?

You're the thick headed brick wall here, dumbass. I clearly outlined multiple disadvantages of Godaddy, you're obviously too fucking retarded to read and understand what I said, so let me break it down for you in simple terms:

Reasons Why Godaddy is worse than other registrars:
1. Godaddy's regular non-coupon price is higher than namecheap and other registrars. See my price chart or view the websites yourself.
2. If you update your whois information, Godaddy blocks transferring that domain for 60 days which is against ICANN regulations
3. If you have false whois contact info, and receive 1 complaint, godaddy will DELETE YOUR DOMAIN NAME, and no one else does that.
4. If you receive 1 complaint for child porn, spamming, phishing, or any other content they don't like, godaddy will shut off your domain until you pay them $199. Who else does that? No one.
5. Godaddy's interface is horrible, they have four pages of upsell ads every time you try to checkout. Namecheap has a nice clean easy interface without all the in-your-face ads.
6. You must pay for whois guard at Godaddy, it is free at Namecheap.

That is multiple reasons why every registrar is better than Godaddy, not 1 like you claim.

The only bullshit here is yours, dude. Their BASE PRICES are NOT EQUAL, and I posted a comparison of the more popular domain extensions. Do you need a pretty graph or something to understand that? These are prices without coupons, Namecheap includes the icann fee, I'm not sure if Godaddy's does or not. Either way, namecheap's "base prices" are CHEAPER, NOT EQUAL.

Regular domain pricing without coupon:
.com Namecheap 9.69 Godaddy 10.69 <-- Godaddy is $1 more expensive
.net NC 9.69 GD 12.99 <-- Godaddy is $3.30 more expensive
.org NC 9.69 GD 14.99 <-- Godaddy is $5.30 more expensive
.us NC 8.88 GD 19.99 <-- Godaddy is $11.11 more expensive
.eu NC 11.44 GD 14.99 <-- Godaddy is $3.55 more expensive
.info NC 2.98 GD 10.69 <-- Godaddy is 7.71 more expensive
.biz NC 9.69 GD 14.99 <-- Godaddy is $5.30 more expensive

I'm done with this thread, and you're on ignore now.

CYF, now it's confirmed. You're certified cock sucking moron.

Where did you get those godaddy prices? From random function in your retarded brain?

Post the correct values and please, post it with best coupons or with bulk register prices (just 6 or more domains at once).

And then namecheapcocksucker, decrease bulk registrar price with 10% with OYH5.

Those who can't lie, shouldn't lie as they look like retards.

And once again, I've started this thread just to save money to those who use Godaddy.

This thread wasn't started as a place, where raped by dad moron can cure his complexes.

Seriously, you're a fucking retard.

You said "base prices", and I posted base prices without coupons or discounts.

The prices are listed right on the fucking websites, you can go and look it up yourself. Since you're probably too dumb to find it, let me post it for you.

Straight from Godaddy's website:

General First Year Price
.com The most popular domain! Do you have yours? $10.69*
.info Put your information on the Web. $10.69*
.net The perfect complement to a .COM. $12.99*
.org Perfect for your non-profit. $14.99*
.me A domain that's all about YOU. $19.99

.biz A domain that means business. $14.99*
.ws An all-purpose Web Site Domain. $14.99

Spout whatever bullshit you want, those are the prices. Look it up, dumbass. Call me a cocksucker all day long until your face turns blue, I'm done with your retarded posts.

1. Go register different TLDs at godaddy and then post prices.
2. Go search for coupons (take 10 seconds with google), only morons and CYFs are not capable of doing so -

If one use brain, he get's .COM 7,17$ or 7,67$, .NET for somewhat 7$, .INFO for 0,89$, .ME for 9,99$ etc.

Or 30% discount for purchase, or 20$ discount on purchase over 75$ etc, or 10$ discount on .ME .....

But if some CYFs can't count, they need moron prices (highest prices SET for total newbies and morons as they are willing to pay to first registrar they found).

But luckily there are enough smart people in this world that can use google.

CYF I feel so sorry that you were born so dumb to renew your domains for 11,88$ at NamealmostCheap.

I know how to find coupons, retard. I just refuse to use a shitty registrar like godaddy.

the highest price for a .com is 9.69 at namecheap, not 11.88. Keep up with the bullshit.

You're the one that can't read or count, I posted multiple reasons why godaddy sucks, and I finally had to make a list of them because you need to work on your reading comprehension skills. You don't post anything to back up what you're saying, all you seem to do is call me a cocksucker and post bullshit made up prices (11.88? ) I'm done with your bullshit, have fun with your ignorance.

CYF, your certified moron, learn what renewal means and then say again what's highest price.

Anyway, most of the bad stuff about godaddy are stories from kid lilke you who don't think while registering domains and they don't have a clue what trademark is, what WIPO and UDRP is.

Domains registered with bad faith are often take don't by registrars, if they don't do that, ICANN does.

Some bad stories about godaddy are true, but most are false made by angry crybabies just like you are.

Bad stuff happens to with any registrar, even moniker got stolen domaisn that weren't gained back to true owners due to dumb support and monikers support was while ago very good (now it ain't).

And while you jerk off in front of Namecheap LOGO, they have lots of junk too.
More then year ago, their site was barely running, it crashes almost on every step while registering domain. So it took 5-10 attempts and took 10 minutes to register domain. And it took 5 or 6 weeks until they've fixed that. That's what I call amateurs.

And also, they think they know better what domain owner wants then himself:

When people get it into their heads that this or that "sucks". they seldomly listen to reasoned argument. So some people prefer godaddy and some prefer namecheap.....up to them, but saying that Godaddy suck because they delete domains with fake whois information is ridiculous. They are just doing what they are supposed to do when they find fake information.

Whoever enters fake information on a domain registration deserves to lose the domain. If you don't want people to know what domains you own, pay for privacy that is what it is for. Scammers and spammers and people up to no good register fake whois information. I doubt the domain registrars have time or can be bothered to establish who is a scammer and who is just cheap.

For the record, I have between 70 and 80 domains (95% adult) with godaddy and have had for about 5 years without a single issue. I did lose a few with registerfly a few years ago, and godaddy saved me losing the rest, so FOR ME they provide and have always provided a good service, and if you alwas search for coupons before renewals you can get some decent prices also. Just try the one at the beginning of this thread. It just renewed 8 domains for me with privacy at a cost of just $61

Godaddy does, in fact, SUCK shit. If a registrar can not be trusted with the domain, they suck. Period.

And what's up with the hundreds of ads all over godaddy? It's bizarre.

Also, Moniker sucks shit as well. They were great before they were sold to another company. They haven't been great since. RIP Moniker.
