I have never cookie stuffed ever on any of my sites.. but then again I don't really see the huge benefit either... the only advantage cookie stuffing gives you is if the surfer actually signs up... if they don't then so what? They have a cookie for a site they aren't joining....
Or are we talking about re-setting cookies to be lifetime instead of the standard 10 days or whatever? Unless I'm totally missing something here...

Yes it is fucked up and wrong. I would shitcan an affiliate for doing it. Ever since a certain toolbar from a company that is very successful did something very much identical after paying for installs and crap, along with its counter. It has been on the top of my assorted shit lists.
