Video-editors in here: im trying to make 30gigs HD into..
So im trying to make 30 gigs of SHDV clips into 1 large movie.
I want to cut out some parts, but i figured it would be easier to get all these files into 1 big one before cutting it up, mainly because these files are .mts files and it takes ages to check them all at once. Main reason for that is, because whatever player i try to watch it per clip, it never plays .mts files smoothly. So i bought pinnacle studio ultimate. But how the hell do i get 490 .mts files, totalling 30gigs, into the editor thing. I have to copy them all to the top, then it puts them in a sort of folder. But cant i just load them all at once in there like i could with moviemaker (which doesnt work for this many files btw, i tried). Am i doing things the hard way? Because now im stuck with loading 35 clips into that folder in pinnacle, then PER CLIP i drag them to the editline, then i convert them to mpeg2 1028i (is that the highest quality i can get btw?). Is this really the best way to do this? And seeing 35 clips being 1.5 gig at the end together, how can i ever get this onto one dvd? Or should i buy a bluray writer? Lot of question, please help me out! |
