Cogents not fucked! Maybe actually better now.

Since Cogent quit peering with AOL, my bandwidth went up. Here is a graph from one of our connections. Check it out.

Maybe they got even better peering or something.

I already know that, Jason.

I went ahead and asked your employee, since you didn't seem to be doing what you said you would.

At least you finally came out with one truth.

Actually, I would have thought you were into the San Francisco Giants. Personally, the Cubs are my boys. Sure, they suck, but for some reason I have a real knack for finding losers.

Thank God my Raiders can kick some ass every now and then.

If anyone needs some good hosting options, just give me a shout. I know a couple guys that will bend over backwards to help you out.

Go Raiders!

I hope that connection is much faster than 1gbps, otherwise your users are loosing ALOT of traffic due to overloaded circuits.

If the average is around 500mbps the spikes will be above 1gbps sometimes. With the average at 900mbps the spikes will be way over 1gbps. Sure TCP/IP will handle it but the speed the users can except will be very varied...

What are you doing to compensate sly for this mishap? And let's not even talk about giving him cologroup credit..

...that's some very scientific analysis there. Ever consider that maybe your clients are just using more bandwidth this week?

How about them Detroit Lions!!

That graphic must be hosted on cogent bandwidth because I'm using Time Warner Cable and it took about 5 minutes to load for me.

heh, i'm sure glad i'm not the only one to notice that. isn't the rule of thumb something like you don't want to go over 70% of the pipe capacity to keep latency down?
