Win7 Users: How do I....
I've set the power options through the control panel so that the HDD should never sleep and the display should never sleep, and I have screensaver set to 'Never'. I have the machine doing some work that will take a while, and I don't want the screen going dark, but it still goes black after 10-15 minutes.
WTF am I doing wrong? This shit works properly on my Macs.  |

Have you done it for both on battery and plugged in?
Go in the advanced options, there's all kinds of settings in there for turn off disks / hibernate / hybrid sleep and all that BS. Turn it all off. |

Run > powercfg.cpl > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings
If that doesn't work it is being managed by something other than Windows.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants think about that |

can someone tell me how to use the split screen function? it would come in handy all day long if i knew how to do it. toggling between two sites or pages takes forever. yes, i am technology challenged, this has been established
