Going underwater in that sub must have been amazing, if you have more pics, post them.

I love snorkeling and mostly everything related to the sea. Those shots are awesome, thx for sharing.

Arriving back in the USA after desert storm was over.

The night I asked my wife to marry me.

Sun rising over the open ocean out on my boat in the middle of dead calm caribbean sea.

Finishing a new rock climbing route that my partner and I found in Bristol Gorge after almost dying during the climb.

Singing for my band in front of 6000 people at Colsten Hall in Bristol, UK, in a concert that included Black Sabbath as the headliner.

Walking though the middle of the Brazilian rainforest in shorts, and no shoes from the banks of a tiny stream when our little boat had gotten stuck.

Seeing Grey whales only 60 feet away while scuba diving off of Windansea, in San Diego.

The feeling of pulling away on my first motorcycle when I was 15 years old.

First safari in Kruger gamepark in South Africa, creeping through brush, and looking up to see a white rhino staring at us from WAY too close....

The first morning I woke up in the same bed with two Finnish girls, named Ria, and Nita, in a small apartment in Amsterdam, and realized that I didn't have anywhere to go for a long time.....

You got me thinking about this now.... and I realized that there are a bunch of them.

I just turned 29 so still got a long time ahead of me.
But reading through this thread and going over things in my head, I've done some pretty cool stuff already and had some great experiences. My top 10 so far:

1. Leaving everything behind in the Netherlands to start over with a clean sheet in the Philippines.

2. Bungee jumping on various locations.

3. Off piste skiing in France, Switzerland and Austria.

4. Diving diving diving. It's amazing and a life experience each and every time.

5. Test driving Audi's in the nurnburg ring. Vrooom!

6. Island hopping in The Philippines in general. Having a bbq on a deserted Island with a bottle of champagne and nobody around for many miles is very special.

7. Listening to old people. It can be life changing.

8. Participating in Fear Factor. Exciting!

9. Dj'ing in front of a 1000 people, bullshitting my way in and actually rocking it!
Oh the energy!

10.... I'll post that later!

making my first million

heli-boarding in Terrace BC and almost dying in an avalanche but managed to ride it out

the first time i ever hiked out of bounds in Whistler to the top of flute bowl, and dropped in over a huge, huge cornice, and landed it, into perfect powder.

firing machine guns, throwing grenades and firing an RPG at a sketchy as fuck military base in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

tubing down the Nam Song river in Vang Vieng, Laos during their New Years and partying with all the locals. crazy.

first half moon party in Thailand.

at 15 yrs old, the first time i was finally able to put two turns together on a snowboard with out falling.

One of the coolest things I've ever done was the time I was with a NASCAR team and we went to Indy for the Brickyard 400 in 2003.

The first NASCAR race I ever went to was the Busch Clash at Daytona in 1993. Sitting in the cheap seats I was hooked and never imagined being in the garage or on pit road. Around 1997, working as a photographer, I hooked up with a team in what was then the Goodys Dash series which was under the NASCAR umbrella. From there I made contacts and worked with other teams in the Busch and Truck series and finally got with a new Winston Cup team in 2003.

Our first race attempt was the 2003 Brickyard 400 which is second only to the Daytona 500. Plus it's Indy which has such a rich history of auto racing with the Indianapolis 500 which BTW is this weekend. As a kid watching the Indy 500 on wide world of sports I never imagined in my wildest dreams that some day I'd be walking through the garage out Gasoline Alley and on to pit road during a race.

With full credentials including a hot pass I was able to go anywhere during the race and it was almost surreal. I was on the track standing next to Dale Earnhardt Jr. as he got ready to jump in his car and was one of the last to clear the starting grid. I got to roam the pits while drivers made their stops. I was in victory circle when the winner received his trophy and I was standing there with the team as they kneeled down to kiss the yard of bricks. It takes a lot to blow my mind and this was one of those times that just had me in awe as I looked around. It just doesn't get any better than that for a NASCAR fan that used to sit in the cheap seats. A few weeks later I got to do the same thing at the night race at Bristol which is another coveted race.

I was there to take video but did take a few still shots using my Sony VX2000.

Walking around the cars out on the track in the starting grid before the race I grabbed this shot of eventual race winner Kevin Harvick.

It was so cool to walk by and see the " King " Richard Petty waiting for his son Kyle to come in for a pit stop.

This is as close as I could get to the pit wall for a shot and not be in the way as Tony Stewart makes his stop at Indy.

I had found a nice little spot at the entrance to pit road which gave me a clear shot down the track to capture the action.

Another perk of having credentials was Miss Winston being so accessible

Hiking/Climbing to the top of this-
Roraima, a tepui in southern Venezuela about 9000 feet up.

These are flat top mountains, and Roraima was the inspiration for Conan Doyle's
"The Lost World."

All things on the top are black except the trees.
The frogs do not hop, they crawl.
There are natural jacuzzi like pools with thousands of white crystals trailing out of them.
There is a huge, very deep cave in the middle of the plateau.

On the last day we ate mushrooms and enjoyed talking to the rock formations;)

just found this Roraima pic, here is the starting point. its a 6 day round trip.

we only set out with what turned out to be 5 days worth of food, so when we returned to the village we ate like ravenous buzzards. and we couldn't walk right for a few days.
humping 50 lbs of shit thru 3 rivers along the way and on and off rain was the most grueling experience of my life. absolutely worth it and i'd never do it again.

you have to have a guide legally to go up there, most people get a guide and a few porters to hump their stuff for them, but we opted to pay one porter as a guide, which was cheaper but more painful in the long run.

of course they also have helipcopter trips to the top, but thats no fun!

driving across the country with everything I own in a trailer behind me.

but childbirth definitely at the top of my list. 18 hours of labor and natural childbirth with no drugs. It is amazing the different levels of pain and how your body handles it. I mostly kept my eyes closed and focused, but I felt it all, every little bit. It was awesome.

i highly recommend it if you are in good shape.

we were in venezuela for 5 months that time around which cost me about 3.5 k as a backpacker.

that Roraima trip cost 5 of us about 200 bucks total for 6 days, which was a bit cheaper than the normal route- we probably saved 400 bucks roughing it a bit.

Greats shots there!
