I saw this coming years ago and stopped using those clowns. I said to my self I could never trust anyone with my money that only had 1 contact running the whole show on a board called GFY. Not that Michael isn't a nice guy but they are not nor ever were a real banking institution. Just didnt make any sense to me.

To be quite honest, In my opinion any and all money you have in epass is gone. Kiss it good bye. I may get flamed by some for that statement, but it's simply my opinion as this whole story sounds like a bunch of bull to me....

I see no reason why they cannot hand cut everyone a check for ALL the money you have in virtual or wallet and then simply close up. Anything short of that solution is bull shit to me.!!!

I prefer ACH, checks, or wires.

I'd say give them 30 days before writing it off. If people are still able to do wires from their wallet then that should count for something.

Good luck getting your money back.

None. Why wouldn't you keep it all in your wallet? I only moved it over to the Visa when I wanted to use ATM.

I had about $50 that I was keeping in there to renew my card. Sure enough, they took the $35 out this month for the visa card, then locked it. Classy.

Around $100.

Was approved for a epasporte business account last week and was about to pay the setup costs. That's now on hold.

Most of my money is in the wallet, I'm more concerned with the affiliates I payed out on Monday and if they lost their funds because of this fiasco.

I will work with them to make sure they get their money!

$17 & change. Had a lot of problems with it over the years and started pulling my money out as soon as it went it.

I learned the hard way that not all companies accept epass, even though it's Visa. My card would get declined for purchases here and there, sometimes I just had to switch to the virtual numbers, other times not.. pain in the ass. Last straw was when I moved out of state, seems UHaul doesn't work with Epass, which I was relying on for income at the time, and had to transfer money out before I could use it.

I'll happily transfer my wallet funds to anyone that wants it

Oh Cool! I still have money there and it's in the wallet.

Other than an occasional payment transfer, I haven't used epass for ages because I found the Visa to be useless most everywhere (declined) even with high balances. It was not a widely accepted card by far.

I'll happily transfer my wallet funds to anyone that wants it:

You have a total of US$0.81 available on your ePassporte Account.

You have US$0.81 available in your ePassporte Wallet. What's this?
You have US$0.00 available on your ePassporte Visa Virtual Account.

$11.16 - I withdraw money immediately

On the other hand, I had just sent out an invoice a few minutes before the announcement and had to quickly backtrack and tell them not to pay with Epass.
