Near-Earth asteroid 2010 RX30, which is estimated to be 32 to 65 feet in size, will pass within 154,000 miles of Earth at 5:51 a.m. ET Wednesday. The second object, 2010 RF12, estimated to be 20 to 46 feet in size, will pass within 49,088 miles of Earth at 5:12 pm ET.

pfft those are tiny 65 and 46 feet in size it would barely cause any damage

It wouldnt do much damage but in 2019 there is a 1 in 909,000 chance of a catastrophic asteroid hitting the earth.

If it were to hit the Earth, with that size it'd burn in the atmosphere...

interesting news tho

Read the bottom of that article:

Update:

Once again, the planet can breathe a sigh of relief. After making further observations of asteroid 2003 QQ47, astronomers now say there is no threat from this rock. It has been downgraded to a zero (0) on the Torin scale, which says, "The likelihood of a collision is zero, or well below the chance that a random object of the same size will strike the Earth within the next few decades. This designation also applies to any small object that, in the event of a collision, is unlikely to reach the Earth's surface intact."
While this particular asteroid appears to not be a threat to Earth at this time, the Near Earth Object Program and other agencies continue to monitor space for other threats. After all, it is a big universe, and there are a lot of asteroids and comets out there.

No they wouldn't. That half mile crater in AZ was caused by a meteroite about the same size. A half mile crater in the middle of say NY, Chicago, LA or any major population area would suck.

If a doomsday asteroid did make impact, I think it would be better to be directly underneath it and die instantly rather than experience the slow death that the "impact winter" would bring. Definitely scary shit totally out of our control

what if they explode in the atmosphere

or pass through a keyhole...as they say...a keyhole is a surge in earths gravitational field, which will pull on asteroids and make them swing back in for a crash run in 7 years

just saw it on discovery world hd..lol

sometimes i get the feeling that people want shit like this to happen... pretty sad...

cheer up, make a friend, by a dog, eat some ice cream. The bottom line is most of us will grow old and die of old age... the good news is that video games will kick major ass by then so we will all be on the same nursing home networks playing the latest version of call of duty shooting up the place so all that wishful thinking of everyone dying along with us? Not very healthy...

You are right, they want. Mostly losers and suckers. I know a few of them personally... whenever I met them they are talking me about 2012 shit. They are after universities but unemployed, without any money, living with their parents and so on... And it looks like they all really believe in 2012 bullshit... I can't wait to see them in 2013 or 2014
