they USED TO BE awesome... but they changed their TOS (without sending an email to let everyone know)... claimed they sent emails saying that my account was about to become inactive (which they didn't)... and have 2 different TOS pages...

It's dumb. I don't know but you see a lot of this with affiliate programs these days. I suspect if you add up all the money of hundreds of small affiliates you get a nice chunk of change. I also think some reps are almost trained to be hostile to smaller affiliates. I wonder if the attitude isn't "He doesn't send a lot of sales so fuck him". It's been a common theme with programs especially the last three years. Basically: "If you're not going to be a whale with our program, fuck you".

In regards to the clause 7.10 this was indeed added on January 1st 2009 as part of a full accounting review, we updated the public terms (the ones you agree to when you join) but have overlooked a 'copy' of the terms which is on show in the affiliate area, this will be fixed and only one copy of the terms will be accessible moving forwards.

An email was sent to affiliates alerting them to the change of terms.

An email is automatically sent on the 11th month of inactivity explaining that if your account remains inactive then your balance will be removed. The minimum balance is only $100 so that is the most anybody can lose.

This process is in place to protect our business for accumulating large debtors and has been approved by both our lawyers and accountants.

This process is in place to protect our active affiliates and ensure we can continue to pay the large commissions that we do.

ANY affiliate network which does not have a similar process in place is just asking for trouble and maybe they do not have the handle on their accounts which we do.

We pay over 200 affiliates every two weeks without fail, we always pay ALL affiliates as per our terms and we do guarantee every payout (again according to our terms).

Regarding your policy I believe making it dependent on traffic is more reasonable. Conceivably an affiliate could send you 100,000 hits and still not make a sale. Also the proper thing to do is close the account and send the affiliate payment perhaps minus a reasonable processing fee.

You could just pay out those accounts (that didn't reach the payout minimum you set) at the end of the year. That would be an honest way to handle things and prevent the problem you are referring to. It would also encourage small and beginning affiliates to try your program. The way you are doing things right now creates the impression of a company that is so desperate it will do anything to save a buck.

Don't take this as a personal attack, see it as a word of advice. Removing that clause from your TOS will do a lot more to save your reputation and even promote your company while "our lawyers approved it" style posts usually attract more negative publicity on the boards.

Yes, penis enlargement pills are scamming people. There is no pill that will enlarge your penis, which is why I completely quite selling my own label. Exercises do work however. Regarding MoreNiche, They just don't seem to give a damn about you. I've been screwed over a few times now and the fact is eventually they just stop emailing you. Darren has vanished many times in the middle of deals, I wouldn't trust him at all.

As somebody else has pointed out, if your interest is in closing out inactive accounts, you pay the money as you go. Routinely, every penny.

Any affiliate program that does not routinely and zealously pay every dime that affiliates have earned is shouting to affiliates that they should stay far, far away. Because if they are casual about your nickels and dimes, they'll be even more casual when the chance arises to grab your thousands.

GFY, More Niche scammed me out of 2 commisions that with my 3rd sale would have initiated a payment for me. There are simply too many affiliate programs with integrity to deal with than the shady fuckers at More Niche...spin it anyway you want, you're stealing from affiliates that sent you sales.....

In regards to the clause 7.10 this was indeed added on January 1st 2009 as part of a full accounting review, we updated the public terms (the ones you agree to when you join) but have overlooked a 'copy' of the terms which is on show in the affiliate area, this will be fixed and only one copy of the terms will be accessible moving forwards. An email was sent to affiliates alerting them to the change of terms. An email is automatically sent on the 11th month of inactivity explaining that if your account remains inactive then your balance will be removed. The minimum balance is only $100 so that is the most anybody can lose. This process is in place to protect our business for accumulating large debtors and has been approved by both our lawyers and accountants. This process is in place to protect our active affiliates and ensure we can continue to pay the large commissions that we do. ANY affiliate network which does not have a similar process in place is just asking for trouble and maybe they do not have the handle on their accounts which we do. We pay over 200 affiliates every two weeks without fail, we always pay ALL affiliates as per our terms and we do guarantee every payout (again according to our terms). Andy..do you realize that some of the sites you promote are selling snake oils? Can you give me a link to a study where it shows how exactly a pill can enlarge a penis? Please prove me wrong with links to studies that say that penis enlargement pills actually do work.

There is no pill that will enlarge your penis, which is why I completely quite selling my own label. Exercises do work however. Regarding MoreNiche, They just don't seem to give a damn about you. I've been screwed over a few times now and the fact is eventually they just stop emailing you.
