Which Affiliate Program Software do you prefer?
When you are deciding to promote a program, what affiliate software do you prefer or trust the most? For example, do you avoid programs that use CCBill or do you shy away from NATS? Is MPA your preference? Discuss....

I don't really care that much as long as the sponsor has a good reputation and pays on time :thumbsup
|
i was gonna say i like that program software that pays on time, other than that its cool... whatever. LOL
|
rather promote CCBILL programs, no minimum payouts which for webmasters who promote a lot of programs/sites matters since you might do a couple of sales on a NATS/MPA site and then not do another sale or two for months to reach minimum payout, which means you wait for months to get paid. also a ton of non-CCBILL programs have just closed their doors and said fuck you to affiliates who are owned money. I'm going to trust CCBILL a lot more than somebody I have no clue about who they are and what their situation is who is running a program on NATS/MPA. Of course if a site is really converting and making you money you take the risk and promote it.
some people think CCBILL ratios are much higher/worse than NATS/MPA - i don't see that but know many people who absolutely believe it. not many CCBILL programs do pay-per-signup which hurts since many webmasters will only be interested in PPS. |
ccbill and their amazing rebills!

Nats is nice for its backend. Great stats options.

Nats program! `

Just for the software NATS.
Best interface. I hate the whole ccbill system. |

As for CCBill programs not doing PPS, hard to pay the big bucks when you can't shave. :upsidedow |
i prefer ccbill, i dont want to end up with loads of Nats programmes that'll never reach payout
|
yes, happened to me for years. Not only nats, but all those programs with their own payment methods...fuck them, always some virtual money there, non stop checking of sales to see is minimum reached, then waiting for their pay period...shit.real pain in the ass.
I am going with ccbill because all sales are going to one account. |
These days any smart program would use NATS to run both a CCBill program and a traditional one. Those that don't trust payouts will use the CCBill side while others will use the traditional side.

Yep, offer NATS and CCbill either seperate or intergrated

my own custom.

It's not the software it's the owners of the company and the people who speak for them. I run a search here (unless I already know) and read some of the posts from the owners and their reps (Attitudes often trickle down) to see how they view affiliates and the industry as well as their general character. I often find myself going with my gut about a company. I've been in the industry since before 2000 and even now I've only ever been stiffed on a payment one time and that was when I first started. So I must be doing something right. :)
Overall I like a 100% ccbill program best because there are less things to worry about not to mention the minimum payment and payment delay issues being eliminated. But I know for a fact even ccbill sponsors can and do cheat affiliates. Based on stats alone I like nats 4.1+. It's miles ahead of anything else I've seen and there have been some major improvements in recent versions. |
I'm fine with nats. but I always shy away from ccbill
