lol den, Ok ok ive posted my domains before they showed as registered, I cant take the banter on the chin haha i know these domains wont sell the posts are just to put them out there until fingers crossed something comes of the tapes

True story - once I posted a domain for appraisal on a domain forum. There was a poker site in the style of (word1)poker(word2) on both the .com and .net (.net advertised on TV) and I had gotten (word1)(word2).net. I got it primarily for the collateral traffic from the poker site, but the name on its own was actually a pretty good domain which was why I was curious what others thought about it.
Well I THOUGHT I had gotten it...turns out I was midway through the process of getting it and hadn't FINISHED getting it. I didn't notice until the NEXT DAY that I didn't get it. No one posting in the appraisal thread noticed either. I snagged it up right away and breathed a sigh of relief. Half a year later it had made nearly $1,000 in parking revenue and overall it made about $2k before the poker site ended up sputtering out and closing. Everyone who posted in that appraisal thread unknowingly passed up a $2,000 opportunity.

Thanks Diva and pornnMD your senario plays a part in my thinking of purchasing domains every day and the thing with everyone on this forum and others is were all out for the same thing to make money all it comes down to is some make better decisions than others and some just get lucky lol
