experience and req's for madtgp
I've been checking out the madtgp script and it looks pretty slick. I'm wondering if anyone has had some experience with it and can offer any opions?
My main concern is the rubostness of the script and what kind of hardware is needed to make it run well. I get about 150k uniques a day and currently have a dedicated box running redhat 7.3, it's a p4 1.8 ghz, half gig of RAM, and a 40gig IDE drive. I have a buddy who has a similar setup with similar traffic but he says that it bogs down her server too much so he's switching back. I'm wondering if maybe he has something that isn't tweaked properly. thanks |
