Chaturbate Stats...WTF?

So after reading threads like this one: What's your monthly Chaturbate revenue average? I decided to give CB a try.

I've had experience with SEO with another (non-adult) site that generates a few dollars a month after running for only a couple of months (without buying traffic), so I thought I could repeat the process with the much more lucrative adult industry.

My site is up and it's working. I had hoped once the SEO kicks in I'd start seeing some revenue. It's been running for about a month now but I'm still at $0.

So fine, maybe I'm doing something wrong. But the weird thing is the Chaturbate stats. That often say that I have thousands of hits a day (for a three day period, over 20k!). Yet the Google analytics I have on my site says I get minimal traffic. Is this all bots?

For those who have successfully made ANY money from CB, is this common? Is this program even legitimate? My business partner in this venture believes it's a scam and the people posting on GFY claiming $2000/month in CB revenue are plants.

Any advice you could offer? Anything I've missed?

Thanks in advance.

The URL is MoeCams - The Hottest Cams on the Net

According to Google Analytics, just over 60% of my traffic is from organic searches. But GA also records only 10-20 unique sessions per day, and they don't jive at all with CB's thousands of hits per day.

I'm really puzzled by this, and disappointed by the lack of any revenue from this endeavor as I put a lot of effort into it.

damn >.< Keep in mind CB is old now man you gotta hunt some new stuff if i were you i would try their Camgasm program while it still fresh, If you see nothing after couple more weeks just bounce the fuck out of there. Keep trying different sponsors if they dont work at all for you, keep in mind though every traffic is different depending on where they coming from (keywords, website before they go on your cam site, ect..)

I may do just that...thanks for the feedback! So far my attempts to earn any revenue from adult affiliate programs hasn't resulted in a single website paying for itself yet. But I'll keep plugging away.

Should have posted this in the "fucking around" section, would've gotten a lot more views and responses.

I'm guessing there isn't a way to move a thread to a different section, eh? I could crosspost, but that might be frowned upon here.

Totally true ....also you should go with the Rev-share program from the start. And you need more time, my first sign-ups on Chaturbate were after 1 month.
Rev-share all the way, don't expect any fast results. Best of luck !

Obviously bots, look at your website logs and block that crap using up your bandwidth and messing up your stats. Chaturbate is a great program to promote, legit and pays fast.

MallOfErotica: Let us know your stats with Camgasm or other cam affil you decide to promote.

I do BongaCams. I have only Google traffic (banner ads, no pops) and my free sign up ratio is 1:1000.

Chaturbate is getting saturated so many people promote them. You may try other sponsors.

If you are going to get traffic, you need a unique content strategy, different from everybody else.

i disagree.. that's like saying "live sex" is saturated; it's not.

now, if you take some generic marketing strategies and plan on banking on them, then no, i don't believe you'll do well

the main problem is everybody has access to free porn.

I have been making $2400-3000 a month with Chaturbate and I'm not a plant. I have put in a lot of work with SEO, advertising, linking things together amongst other things. It didn't happen overnight. Even with a kick ass script it still takes work.

Some days I've made $24.00 and some $278.00. Does Chaturbate scam? Not that I've ever caught onto. It's a great company because they've always paid on time and they are converting. Awempire converts to 0... and others very low.

Keep trying. You'll see.

Why does awempire convert so poorly?

I think the design of their site is the best.

I guess everybody already has their cookie (affiliate link) from the big tubes..?

You can make good money with the whitelabels, the jasmin sites are quite competitive with the cookies yes. I'm trying a popunder campaign right now along with continuing to drive traffic to my whitelabels to see how that turns out longer term.

Same here.
I've a lot of registrations (in rev share mode) for my whitelabel.
6014 access / 21 registrations.
Ratio access/registrations is very high, but nobody spend a penny.
This is very strange.

21 registrations is nothing, you need more to see some money.

+1 on this

for us less than 1:100 registratrations spends money (over the last few months we got 2500 registrations 24 spend money)

This is from a thread on the main board from back in June. It might help the conversation some. It is based on some stats on what I send to Chaturbate from my sites.

This was based on 387,964 users of which 12,439 (3.2%) signed up and of those 498 (4%) actually spent money.

sarettah: nice stats! May I ask how much the average user spent in total? Your screenshot is based on 1st time purchase only right? What im trying to figure out is if users continue to spend and over how long time on average.
