I have a friend that wants to be a cam girl and I recommended Chaturbate since it seems to be the most popular. She read on a few model forums that hackers auto-record almost every single show as soon as they sign on and sell the shows on a gazillion sites for btc (ex: savemycam.com).

I'm fully aware that no one can stop recording of cam shows on any site, but apparently there is some simple scripts that make it really easy for anyone to automate the recording and reselling of chaturbate shows. She said chaturbate offers a DMCA service after the fact, but hasn't plugged the security loophole yet.

Out of all the major cam sites, Chaturbate shows seem to be by far the most vulnerable/exploited. I remember reading about that many years ago, figured chaturbate would've figured that out and fixed it by now? Other than chaturbate, what is the most popular cam site? I'm thinking Live Jasmin or Cams.com?

She doesn't want to perform on a site that is literally the worst for show piracy and I don't blame her. Recording is so bad with Chaturbate it almost makes you think they're profiting off it indirectly. It doesn't make sense that sites like Flirt4Free and ImLive use methods to prevent this but Chaturbate won't. DMCA take downs are a joke because most of these recording sites are hosted in Panama or in places where DMCA laws don't apply. She also shouldn't have to worry about constantly scanning the web for that stuff. Surely there is a popular cam site that doesn't have this problem nearly as bad as Chaturbate does. I've been out of the loop for a while, was hoping some cam models frequented here and could recommend a good site. After digging a bit, I think Flirt4Free is her best option, have yet to see a pirated cam show site that features F4F models.

Yep, I was thinking that, too. But, the private shows and things like ticket shows can be good on Chaturbate, too. I've looked for a few girls' private Chaturbate videos on the pirate sites honestly and it's pretty difficult sometimes. Most of them are just boring feeds that are free to the public anyways, but not live. Or just popup hell kinds of things..
Cam porn isn't the same as paysites where on paysites it's like "sweet, I can watch this free now!" when they download a video or get a pw. On cams, tipping is more to support the girl, not really to get her naked for $x, so the ones not paying and going to pirate feeds aren't really ever going to pay anyways. Sure, her privacy might be an issue, but again she'd be on a live, anyone can watch it when she's online website anyways. You know what I mean

She should just test around on a few platforms and stick with the ones that pay out the best. If she isn't like top 50 on any cam sites, no one's going to notice her on pirated sites..

If your friend would be upset if people either now or in the future knew she ever cammed, SHE SHOULD NOT CAM.

Lastly, Chaturbate gets exponentially more visitors than Flirt4Free. There is really no comparison for size. So, yes, there probably are more visitors screencapping streams on Chaturbate because there are simply more visitors. That also means more potential tippers for someone not ashamed of camming.

There is no way anyone can stop cam recording - It's just not possible - Of course Chaturbate are the biggest site so will be the biggest 'victim'...

Perhaps offering hand picked show offers with private software like Skype would help - But then how do you promote?....

That just prevents models from being listed on affiliate sites. That checkbox has no effect on hackers auto-recording every model as soon as she signs on. Not sure why Chaturbate doesn't unleash their pack of rabid lawyers on the dozens of sites like savemycam.com unless they were in on it some how.

No idea, maybe Chaturbate can ask them? All the recorded cam show sites like savemycam.com are of chaturbate shows. I know this because my wife and I performed on chaturbate back in 2016-ish and it was a major problem back then and we left once we learned about it. Nothing to do with privacy, more to do with having shows pirated/sold leaving model out of the loop. Chaturbate is very much aware of the issue, can't believe it's still going on this much later. There are scripts that specifically target chaturbate and record every model that meet a specified criteria from the second she signs on and signs off, it's a major vulnerability. Doesn't seem to be a problem for any of the other big cam sites. Anyways, beating a dead horse - don't care anymore, she chose F4F.

Also looking at that site, they are hiding behind Cloudflare who never actually seem to forward the DMCA complaint when it's reported. They also probably use an offshore provider that ignores DMCA complaints.

He's not talking about that. When flash was replaced by HTML5 it became possible to download streams (and tube videos). You can do it with bash one liners. It's not recording the screen, just saving the stream directly.

Obviously the (privacy) problem is whereas once webcams were ephemeral, and performers might prefer them to more permanant video/image work, now anyone who performs is recorded and stays on the internet permanently.

This thread, however, is entirely about OP spamming his own webcam recording/saving site. Thought it when he posted it a month ago, since it made no sense as anything but that.

However, I have absolutely NOTHING to do with that site or any webcam recording site whatsoever - never have, never will. I just used that particular site as the most blatant example of cam site piracy I could find. Do a search on google, there are tons of them, and they're all of chaturbate shows. IMHO they're all pirate sites and what they're doing is illegal because the models aren't getting a cut. If you think I'm spamming an illegal site with no affiliate program to other webmasters you must be missing a few bolts.

To be honest it was probably the first site that I found when I googled it a month ago. Any of those cam recording sites are examples of cam site piracy. Again, if you think I'm "spamming" an illegal site that I am protesting against, has no affiliate program, and on a board that is for webmasters, you must be a very special type of stupid. I see you're fairly new here, but you should know by now this is not the place to troll for porn customers. If you're that concerned about that particular site, use your detective skills to dig a little deeper than cloudflare and you'll find the owner. Definitely not me.

OP asks a legit question. As someone who tends a very large farm of servers, I can say that it’s impossible to ignore any other farm of servers that is programmatically recording hundreds or a thousand shows simultaneously. The service provider (cam site) would basically have to allow this to happen on such a grand scale because this type of activity can’t be hidden.

Thank you Brad. I just did a quick search for "chaturbate recording script" and found this along with several other forum tutorials. The reddit user explains how he saves a massive amount of Chaturbate shows (200gb/day) and acknowledges "paid sites that scrape this data and store it". This was a major problem 5 years ago when my wife and I tried CB. When I heard that Chaturbate hadn't yet nipped it in the bud, it just had me scratching my head.

People hooked on cams won't be searching for recorded shows, and if they do, it won't satisfy their itch for live interaction. If it's not a privacy thing, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Chaturbate is the most often target for the same reason that Microsoft stuff is the most often target. They have overwhelming market share.

You can Google for git chaturbate recorder and find many scripts and even some that are automated. So any douche can do this.

But like Brad said, when you do this to the scale that some of the sites are doing in order to provide massive amounts of videos, you cannot hide that. It is traffic and it is originating from a certain region.
