i don't use zfree in the first place and there is a reason i suggested to add them, spacedog said he didn't want 404's and zfree sends ALOT of 404's. and actually it is a pretty big price to pay. thats 1/10 of all of your posible sales gone, not to meantion 1/10 of the TGP's you submit to won't accept you becuase they were sent to a 404.

HERE is a pretty good blacklist.

Just remember, some scripts cannot blacklist subdomains. For that reason, the TGP owner will blacklist entire freehost domains, just to stop a persistant cheater.

With the size of those blacklists and the perpensity of a cheater to simply just register a new domaign name why not look at it from a different perspective and operate a GOOD LIST? List those people's URLs who make good galleries and WILL NOT fuck with them. The list would probally be shorter and easier to maintain then a blacklist. Even have a quality ranking putting better URLs higher up on the list maybe or a star ranking system for URLs?????

That is why I have used a private submit form. Much easier to police the links when you can eliminate cheaters with 2 clicks.

Cheaters ruin it for all of us who don't fuck around. They ruin using autosubmiters, because they hack the scripts to be used on numerous domains and spam the crap out of everyone. They cause many freehosts to be blacklisted, because they hide behind the anonymity of the host. Now, entire IP blocks are being blacklisted, in order to prevent some cheaters from submitting. It's crazy.

I just thought I'd out my 2 cents in here. First off, I don't use freehosts, except for the maybe 5-8 times that I tried and just couldn't get listed anywhere. But looking at the list above, it seems that most are on paid domains. Now I understand how a freehost works, how they are only successful if alot of people are using them, but how about this.... Make an exclusive freehost only to be used by people that complete some sort of interview/process to determine their legitimacy. Then the freehosts won't have to redirect, cuz they won't have cheaters causing them to be blacklisted, etc. Then maybe freehosts, which in idea are not bad things, can get the resppect that they deserve. Cuz remember there is an awful lot of mudslinging towards freehosts, when their only intention was to make some money in a way that benefits everybody if not abused.

Whaddya' think? Just my opinion.

Sidenote - I am glad that I didn't see my domains on that list, though.

every one of them is there for a completely legitimate reason.... Take it for what it's worth... If someone redirects, has kiddy p*rn on it, we ban them... easy as that, I have no remorse and I dont give a flying fuck who owns the domain, I think I even banned one of my own domains once because I fuct up and it was redirecting!
