Blacklists
Good morning/afternoon everyone,
I'd like to know if there are other TGP webmaster willing to share their blacklists? I spent about 5 hours last night checking the galleries, the registrar, the servers, trying to find a pattern with these little pricks but I'm sure there are some of his IP's and galleries that are already gone and will try to come back later so I'd rather have the script blocking him from the start. We are fed up of the cp/incest/rape/dialers/misleading links/pop-up hell. We will share all our lists with those who are interested and have a list to share with us. Any serious webmaster who wants his galleries listed - send me an email. There are 22 categories and 10 galleries a day. We don't trade traffic, just hardlinks. No blindlinks and our traffic is from search engines only. So truthfully, it's a damn fucking waste to have those pricks listed. Ok.......I vented - didn't sleep much cuz it got me so pissed off! Now contact me whoever is interested. Thanks and have a good one! |

In a sense you are right, but then again, that is what they are clicking for. If they click something that says *free* and they get a full page ad, I can guarantee we wouldn't be high on the search engine for long. What do you think?

Lets say you let the gallery links go to rotating FPA's instead of a gallery with 20 pics.
That wouldn't be much difference from the eyes of the SE, right? |

I have a feeling it's the same group of people harassing TheHun. I have bunch to list, which I'll add when I get to my computer. They are sly, very good galleries but then they fuck up their listings with those redirects. They use a million and one names, domains, registrars and addresses. swedguy, you must understand that I live off of gallery submissions. My hubby has the TGP. If everyone does as you say, then basically, I don't have much to go on in this business as well as 1000's of other honest webmasters, correct? Why should we all suffer for these Russian scam artists? (Most have a russian address or their concept of the english language proves they are from those parts of the world) Fruck, they give the good ones a bad name. To hell with them, I'll just ban them all until I can depend on a good 2-3 hundred honest webmasters that can provide quality galleries - to keep building our site. If our site goes up, and we link to the galleries, then their sites go up. It's a matter of reciprocating quality, respect and search engine popularity. |

I would put galleries that are only my own that has very few pics and heavy advertising. I get the opportunity to sell them something on my TGP + on ALL galleries. 100% goes to me. Might not be the best for bookmarkers. But if I already have a big stream of SE traffic, I don't think I would really mind. |

TheHun tracks them by deligence, plus because of his experience in programming, I gather he can trace them better than we (myself and my husband) could. I did it the good'ole detective way of chipping away at the facade by going through whois db, checking all domains and similarities. To be honest where the IP's are, if I found more than five on the same server but different last 3 digits, I banned everything from 001 to 100. When I'm bored, I'll do the 101 to 999. I hope they rot in hell.
Instead of spending time with my kids, my blood was boiling over a fucker I don't even know or could tell to  in my sweet voice. There whatever I find as a common denominator with these guys, I ban everything in between. If they can prove differently, then by all means, send me an email. I'm very understanding when I'm at fault. When I'm right, hell hath no fury like Trixxxia scorned! I'm sure they don't give a flying fuck, but hey, it's my time, my surfers and every month I try my best to stay up there on the SE's so who the fuck are they to piss on my parade? |

You know swedguy, you are correct, this is why we are looking at trusted webmasters & paid submissions only. However, in order to be a TGP, we need to be able to offer variety. We target 2 niches, it kinda gets boring same template, same sponsor, same niche.
1) We want to gain bookmarkers (eventually they will buy) - we want them to tell their friends to visit our site. 2) Although we're in it to make a buck, the gallery submitter may be my hardlink partner in the future. 3) Personal satisfaction that our site is growing - in order to do that, it has to have quality and variety - two people alone can't do that. 4) No matter how many SE hits you get a day - an advertiser also looks at the total amount of traffic your site receives. 5-10-20 thousand isn't as appealing as 50-100-200k a day. 5) In order to learn & grow, you have to know and trust more than just your spouse :-) With all that said, if we can't trust people we may just go your way!  |

Theese guys seems to have ALOT of domains so just banning domains would be ineffective. Everything is probably very automated, from buying new domains, to html. ve started converting my tgp's to TGP Devil. so far, it has performed very well.
The Link bot feature allows me the chance to automate the rechecking of galleries. I still use a blacklist, but running the bot runs automatically 3 times daily, cleaning out any posting rule vilolations. New link bot: Link bot will now check filesizes to catch galleries that have been modified since being submitted. Features: Approve/Deny Posts several at a time. Accepts posts from all auto-submit programs (such as TGSW and Russian Submitter). Supports unlimited categories. Can check for a valid email address by sending submitter a confirmation email. Rank submissions. The higher the rank, the higher they will appear in the days listing. Supports preferred submitters. Issue your best submitters a "submitters account". Each submitter can have different settings such as default rank, auto-approval, and max number of submissions per day. Optionally check for a reciprocal link. Checks that the gallery page that the user submits is valid. Limit the number of posts per person per day. Editable templates control EVERYTHING from the way your TGP looks to email and error messages. Ban users by IP address. Choose domains to deny posts from. Admin can manually add links (perfect for adding links to sponsors/link trades). Blazing fast search feature to help you find/delete/modify existing posts. Uses MySQL instead of flat text databases. This means the script will be VERY fast, reliable and able to store nearly unlimited links. SUPER easy installation! Even with no MySQL experience! Supports plug-ins to add features to your TGP like voting on galleries or searching existing posts. Plug-ins are constantly in development! Includes a setup script to make installation and DB setup simple. Ability to prevent auto-submit programs from submitting to your gallery. Link checking bot to make sure links in database are still valid. If not, it will take action according to your instructions (will either queue bad links for you to review or will automatically delete them). Reporting function so users can report galleries to the administrator that are in violation of your TGPs rules. Admin has access to all reports within the admin panel for quick review/removal. Can send email when user submits a gallery and when it it approved or denied. Feature may be disabled. If sending emails when a gallery is declined, you can quickly choose a reason for declining each gallery. The reason you selected will be emailed to the submitter. This will cut down on repeated bad posts. Bulk email past submitters. Refuse posts according to text contained on the submitted gallery. Version checker so you'll be the first to know when a new version is available. LOTS more. The Link Bot

That's not the tgp. Send me an email at myname (at) myname (dot) com and I'll forward the page to ya. Then submit one page and advise by email what category you submitted to and the info you posted so I can look for you (it makes it easier to find you) and give you preferred status. These are the categories. lol, I had to read through the entire thread till I realized that it's an old one.
I think the development during the last years towards paid spots/partner accounts and only partner submissions put an end to cheaters like the guys in this thread |
