I'm thinking of putting some of my shemale videos for sale there. Pretty shemales like AnaTranny.com, AngelesCid.com, PercyPrincess.com, etc. Will it be worth it?

Give it a try. It's differant for every studio but with your content you should be golden. Try a dozen clips or so and see. :)

I was also curious if it's worth investing the time into making a clips4sale. back in 2009 when you added a video you would get at least 400 hits every time. but last I tried a couple years ago it was more like 4 hits. If I have to bring my own traffic, I'll just send it to my real sites.

I get sales when I constantly add new videos. Aside from that, I don't do much.

I have a friend who still does quite a bit, but he sells some wacky shit.

I still make $$ from it...not like in 2006 - 2008...but, it's worth it...money is money...especially if it is "extra monetization".

Totally not worth it if you do.

If you work for free, then you will be happy with the pittance they send.

buying one 8 min video for 9 bucks, then another 5 min video for $6... and so on...

OR... watching endless hours of video in every niche imaginable without spending a dime.

the only problem in your theory is, that: most of clips4sale content isnt at the tubes and it is so great that top studios are probably making xxxx $ a day....

Load up a bunch of clips..

Then scheduled new ones to go live.. have a look at how the system treats new videos etc and sort out a scheduled of releases.
Over time you will find that time of day and day of the week matter.

After your first mass release of clips to give the users a little selection to grab more than 1 offering.. I wouldn't release more than 1 video at a time.

The top stored make good $ but most are producers or models so content is cheap amd easy to make $

It depends on a lot of factors and expectations.

I have stores I have not updated in years still getting me some sales every month that I am not promoting in anyway beyond having a clip store set up. Do I make pre-2008 revenues? No. But I am also not updating 3-5 stores five days a week either. The value to me with clip stores was always a secondary revenue stream and driving traffic. Additionally, I did not lose those buyers who wanted a single clip versus a membership.

Considering it literally takes you 5-10 minutes(15 if you include the drag and drop of videos, and ftp) of REAL WORK (i.e. your manual labor of typing up a description, etc) to update a clip store(s) and you can make a decent chunk of money by real world standards, I would say that it's a decent time investment for many folks in the real world. Maybe not so the bawlas for adult porn lore bathing in fiddies.

Thanks for your input, guys. I'll give it a try. I have almost 100,000 videos so it'll take me a few days to decide which ones to start with, but I'm definitely doing it. Even if it's not a lot of money, I should get some type ins ;)

I have been using C4S for over ten years now and have no less then 30 stores.
Of the top 15 niches we do 7 of them a lot.
I can say this thread is a good example of people who do not have a clue and just talk out their ass like they know it all LOL

Clips 4 Sale is awesome. Always consistent monthly sales for me. I don't know why one wouldn't give it a shot. I wish I had started back in 2006-2008.

UPDATE: I promised I'd post my results here, so:
I made about 2 sales a day for the first 7 days, when my store was in the New Stores list. After that, not a single sale, despite having updated it almost every day for the first couple of weeks.
