Last time I heard, he was offered 15 billion (by Microsoft). Take the money and run, for all I know. But he seems to think different.

Groupon and Twitter should have sold but Facebook, I can see why they are holding out. They have a chance to be absolute monsters and make that 15 billion look like chump change.

The beauty of the internet is, some unknown monster could show up next year and push FB to the side the same way FB did to MySpace. Or not and FB rules supreme until the end of the internet.

and they are not alone, hotbot, altavista, yahoo,etc all are either out of business or are a sinking ship... and dozens of other that everyone already has forgotten about...

not many internet companies from 10 years ago survived to this day...
