My guess is that the motherfucking TSA in their search for "terrorists" (meaning drugs in your pockets) is hitting us with more radiation in those body scan machines than we'll see from the "plume"

Clearly we are all gonna die.

On Sunday, the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission said it expected that no ?harmful levels of radioactivity? would travel from Japan to the United States ?given the thousands of miles between the two countries.?

There is already plenty of things in your home that are radio active. Grab a Geiger counter and go scan the bananas in your fridge.

Don't know - I see the words "possible movement" - "forecast" - "diluted" - "projections" - "assumes" - "extremely minor health consequences" - "minuscule" - "gives no information about actual radiation levels but only shows how a radioactive plume would probably move and disperse" - "it is very unlikely that there would be any harmful impacts.”"

Words seem far more clear when I was younger and actually meant what they said - apparently they all are meaning now, "Radioactive Plume To Hit California Friday - adapt or die."

i used to sell x-rays for dentists. so i had to learn about the history of x-rays and man, it isn't pretty. until the 1950ties they had no real idea what heavy radiation they emitted and getting an x-ray until then was like sitting right on top of the Fukushima reactor.

XBiz is happening in Chicago this summer. And with this radioactive plume headed straight for us...I'm afraid we will all be dead here in Vegas within the week.

Dude, I'm 4 hours away now, I may just have to drive out there and we can make our own party

Hyman knew how to party!

With the knowledge that tritium is worth some minor concern because it is mildly radioactive, I then go through the mental process of determining if "thousands of picocuries" per liter is something to worry about. I know off the top of my head that the drinking water limit in the US is 20,000 picocuries per liter. I also know that a picocurie is just 0.000000000001 curies (1*10^-12) and that one of my heros, Admiral Hyman G. Rickover once volunteered during congressional testimony to drink primary coolant water from a nuclear plant, which has a much higher concentration.

You are 100% wrong Lloyd.

CM and I went to New York a couple of weeks ago. I usually have no problems here at the Vegas airport.

But this time I went through the body scanner, and they stopped me on the other side and made me stand there with my feet in the little painted feet on the ground.

Then THREE TSA guys took me into a room. They felt my body from head to toe, including my cock and balls. I was wearing sweat pants and they pulled the front of them open and looked down my pants.

I was talking to them the whole time cause I was pissed off at being treated like that when all I wanted to do was get on a glorified bus with wings.

I joked with them when they pulled my pants forward and looked down my pants and told them these EXACT words: "Hey man, I didn't hide the cocaine down there"
His EXACT reply to me was: "How did you know what we're looking for?"

I started talking to them for a couple of minutes and showed them Claudia Marie waiting for me and they were wanting to know all about her porn site, etc. And they flat out told me that "yes" they are looking for drugs.

SO...when we got back we went to KaraokeXXX and I was hanging out with a guy who parties with us there. He works for the TSA. I told him what happened. And he re-confirmed it to me and said that "yes" they are always looking for drugs and have never found ANY "terrorists" at the Vegas airport...but they did make a record setting marijuana bust a few months ago.

Said they have made a few dozen "busts" on people having pot or coke on them. So you are dead wrong about that.

Then that is because NV requested it. If they have been looking for drugs the entire time they are the most inept organization ever.

I do have on question though, and I am not doubting you were told that, but just how much weed can someone stuff in their pants that would be anywhere close to a record weed bust?

Sorry I misspoke...it was heroin:

And my friend that works there said that YES they are looking for people carrying small amounts of drugs and have made a few dozen busts with people with just a small bag of pot or a gram of coke.

They make you take EVERYTHING out of your pockets. including your money!

It's total bullshit. And I have to say that it really pissed me off.

But if you are still doubtful about it...then may I ask you to please carry a couple of grams of coke for me the next time we are all flying to a show? I'm sure that the TSA won't look for it. heh-heh

It seems that everything is made from atoms, no matter whether it is a solid, liquid or gas. The radiation really spreads through almost any substance. People in a local area share the same fate, even though they might be behind different walls. The man-made radiation goes through walls. In same cases, special anti-radiation bunkers have been built with thick walls of concrete or metal to protect the people inside the bunker. A radiation threat is something that can connect people and bring them together, just like a common enemy can unite peoples. A natural thing that different people share in the same geographical area is weather. Weather is a local phenomenon that has a huge effect on biological beings - it can range from snowflakes, rain, thunder, lighting, volcano, hurricane, tsunami, earthquakes, flood, hail, sunshine, ice and many other things. Good luck!

1. If your money is coins, it is metal, so of course it has to be removed.
2. I don't do coke, so no thanks, but I have zero problem transporting weed.
3. Judging by that article, your friend seems to be . . . how should I put it . . . full of himself? TSA did not make that bust.

WoW. Are you old enough to be on this board?
...Somebody check please.

1. Nope. They said "Remove EVERYTHING from your pockets, including money and credit cards" I didn't have coins. Just bills. And they told me I had to take them out too. Wonder why?

2. Okay...bring a bag of pot in your pocket on your next flight and find out for yourself.

3. The police were called in by the TSA to make the arrest. The TSA are the ones in the back going through everyone's luggage (they go through ours almost every time). Matter of fact when we were leaving New York, I was telling one of the managers at American Airlines (she helped us get a nice first class upgrade for free) what happened at Mccarren Airport in Vegas. She was shocked when I told her they felt my balls, cock and ass and looked down my pants.
Then she told me that there had just been an arrest of TSA agents for stealing shit out of people's luggage. I'm sure we all knew that was happening...I know I don't put ANYTHING of value in my luggage. Just my pants, shirts, and shoes...and pray to God that a TSA agent doesn't take a liking to my clothing.

Bottom line is...it's total bullshit that they are searching people like we are criminals. So far they haven't stopped one single thing or caught one single "terrorist". I suppose you could say that there very presence is doing it...but come on. A child could figure out 100 ways to get something on a plane.

Hell if I was a crazy religious freak muslim and wanted to blow myself up and kill everybody, I'd just swallow a bomb and get on the plane. Of shove it so far up my ass they wouldn't know.

You can't stop a determined crazy person. The only people suffering are us people who haven't done any "terrorism" and simply want to get on their shitty airplanes. lol
