Very sick..

Well the past few day's haven't been very good for me. I woke up to feeling like I had a severe sunburn & pins-and-needles type feeling all over my body. I feel very weak and I have no appetite so I basically have to force myself to eat. I also have hardly any taste buds.

I have always had back pain because of osteoarthritis in my back but it has intensified severely since this started happening. I went to the ER today and they ran blood tests and a urine tests and everything turned out normal..

Anything that is cold that touches my body seems to intensify this effect. I feel like I am dying. Is there anyone here that has heard of something like this before or had this happen to them?

I don't have insurance so my choices are limited.

That's what I thought it was because it described my symptoms nearly perfectly, but my Dr. said it would of shown up in the blood test's.

You should try to go to a walk in clinic just to be safe. They will take you w/o insurance. The visit will probably set you back $90, maybe more depending on where you live, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Also, this may shound weird, but could it be depression?

I had a moment a few years back when I lost 2 members of my immediate family in a 2 month span, the second one was murdered. It fucking destroyed me. I remember my skin felt like it was burning. It felt like a sun burn / pool burn all the time and it stung to be touched. I had no appetite, when I would try to make myself eat I would chew food and it was like my body wouldn't want to swallow.

If you've had any major stressful event, greif, emotional trauma, etc maybe that's the root cause. You should still go to the doctor but just some food for thought.

Also even though you've been to the ER I still think you should follow up with seeing a doctor at a walk in clinic (not an urgent care clinic) because they are general practitioners that will take the time and try to investigate possible causes. The ER just wants to patch you up and make sure you're not going to die in the immediate future. They aren't going to be able to really check you out and work on a diagnosis / care plan.

That's interesting I've never heard of that before. Yes, I have depression and have been stressed out lately. I will go to the walk-in clinic tomorrow and maybe they can figure out what it is. How did you get it to stop? I'm in severe pain and I've had kidney stones before and although it isn't that bad it runs a close second..

Yes, as soon as they found out I had no insurance it was like they didn't care at all and just wanted to get me out of there.

I have kidney stones too, I feel you there as well.

With me I just took it one day at a time. I was fortunate that with my situation it was an event and not a disatisfaction with my way of living so in a way I was able to compartmentalize it somewhat when I finally got a handle on things. Mostly I tried to focus on aspects of my life which exist in their own spheres separate from my family life- so I spent alot of time burring myself in my work or going out with friends.

If life has got you down focus on work, if work has got you down focus on enjoying life, if your life and your work sucks maybe it's time to make a change.

I know it sounds cheesy but everyday really is a new chance to turn it all around.

On the subject I also wanted to add- and this totally may not pertain to you but more on depression in general- alot of my friends are in our 30's now and alot of them are finding themselves "stuck". They get set in these patterns and they get comfortable and over time they get so used to certain things that they fear changing it up.

They are stuck in a job / relationship / living situation they hate but they've been living with it so long they are afraid to change. It's almost like they're on auto pilot, letting themselves be dominated by anxiety and fear of failure or the unknown.

It's kind of like the devil you know is better than the devil you don't- but really, unless you have children to consider, if you're unhappy don't let anything stop you. It seems alot of people are so afraid of failure that they'd rather live in misery than try.

I guess what I'm trying to say is if you're unhappy with where you are or what you got, why hold on to it so tight you miss the opportinity for something better? Be smart about it, not saying anyone should quit a job if they don't have something else lined up or walk out on a wife and kids.. just saying maybe not to focus on everything as success or fail, maybe make toe goal just to change up the game. If you find yourself unhappy with something, become your own agent of change. Know out the gate you won't be successful at everything you try, but if you don't try can you really be satisfied with the alternative?

Sorry if I'm rambling...

Maybe you have Dengue or Malaria, i had Malaria 2x and Dengue killed my father. Kinda sounds like what you have when you say pins and needles all over your body. If you got a fever and over sleep you need to get some blood work done at the hospital mate.

Have you done any traveling to forgin countrys within the last 2 weeks? Do you live in a forgin fuckin country?

I had the same identical symptoms you described about 3 weeks ago. I went to the doctor to find out that it was a severe sinus infection and they put me on antibiotics, I seriously felt like crap for 10 days until the medication kicked in.
The worst part of it is the chills and the sun burn effect.

check a prolonged test for diabetes, not a one-time blood test. skin irritation and fatigue can be some of the symptoms. plus make it sure you take enough iron.

No shit. Even before that he was exposed as a lying "scammer" with thread after thread of him doing shady things. I assumed, especially when you also posted in this thread, that he must have done something in the last week to smooth everything over after all the bad shit he's done.

Probably making this "illness" up too, to get people on his side.

You may be feeling the onset of shingles. If you have had chicken pox before, you are prone to shingles as an adult, but it usually doesn't manifest until after your 40's but stress can bring it on way earlier.

It's part of the herpes strain from the chicken pox not the STD, but it manifests in a very similar way the first time it flares up. Once you have the virus from the chicken pox, it can lay dormant for years, even decades, then something triggers your immune system and you suddenly feel almost feverish, sick, rundown, and achy like you're getting the flu. Your skin is really sensitive to touch and you may notice a rash on your lower back, that's usually where it first appears on most folks, but I've heard that others have gotten it on their shoulders, legs, etc. If it's not yet inflamed, it may start to feel itchy but hurts if you scratch it.

Does that sound anything close to what you're experiencing?

when did you last engage in uprotected / high risk sex? after initial hiv infection you will develop similar flu-like symptoms similar to what you have 2-3 weeks after, then you wont have any other symptoms for years.

Probably making this "illness" up too, to get people on his side.
and he claims the site hes selling makes 15k a month, and says doesnt have insurance.

It's unfortunate that you have no appetite. Weed could increase your appetite.

I guess it depends on how reasonably you set your sights / how you apply it.

Dreaming of being a rockstar, possible but unlikely, but that doesn't mean you can't make music. Want to be the president, also improbable, but that doesn't mean you can't be politically active on a local level. If you want to be famous, there's always reality TV ;)

I mean, take Unknown Hinson for example. I'm not sure what he did before he was Unknown Hinson, but he wasn't a young man when he first donned the garb. He's not a superstar but he certainly has is following.

Just my Personally I feel it's never too late.
