I still believe the government is taking it a little too far by trying to police state us however.

If pushing around 3rd countries is making terrorists and thereby costing us our freedoms, then I think we'd probably be best off killing those terrorists more efficiently or backing off them until we can (kill them more efficiently), so as not to impinge on our freedoms.

no it is not a police state however the US does run the risk of becoming one. To keep it in perspective what the police are doing, arresting protesters is definitely not ideal. But Americans can travel inside our borders without being harassed and safely without worry that law enforcement will stop us and question us without probable cause... well except in Tennessee, but that is homeland security and nothing at all to do with a police state

Because I just happened to be white passing through this neighborhood, the cops stopped me, serched me, ran my name through the computers, and then let me go when they realized my story checked out. But what the fuck?! You can't even walk down the street in your own town without getting fucked with.
