And since this is summertime and is supposed to be a "slow down" period...I'd say that things are beginning to slightly shift.

I am up 9.4% vs June and June was a good month. July is traditionally one of my worst months, so this is a nice trend.

Who knows the reason for the increase, but obviously this effort can only help. Keep up the good work AK!

While I believe that it is still way too early for paysite owners to be making any judgement on whether or not this will help their business, I do hope you are right. However, I think it will take a sustained increase over several months before anyone notices any real difference.

Regardless... it is encouraging to see your sales go up... coincidence? maybe... but I look forward to you coming back in 3 months to say sales have continued to rise

I think the reality of the situation is, an entire generation of would be consumers have been conditioned NOT to pay for things. So until that mindset is changed, and it eventually may be, it will be a long road ahead. The important thing is progress is being made.

What I know for sure is, if they can't find your content on the tubes and can't find it in the lockers, you have a really good chance of them paying for it if you have a unique product.

7% increase just from the file lockers that have been shut down so far? that's fantastic since there hasn't been many that has been shut down. some lost paypal, got paypal again, lost paypal, switched to another company. but few have been shut down completely. at this pace if ak can shut down all file lockers your sales should go up 300%. it would be like 1999 all over.

since everything that is found on file lockers is also found on the tubes what stops people who were going to a file locker from going to a tube? sorry i try to understand this and see everyone excited but my sales have not gone up this month. i never understand why people use file lockers in first place, why wait to download a video when you watch it on a tube ?

Tubes are pretty different from file lockers. File lockers add much more convenience for sharing pretty much anything including videos.

With a tube it's just streaming videos of varying quality legal or otherwise trying to build traffic or whatever.

There are many ways to share files, but file lockers are probably the most convenient and of course profitable.

I wouldn't begin to assume that the shutting down of payment processors on the filelockers AK has gotten so far is directly responsible for my sales increase.

But I do think that everything he is doing is having a "ripple effect". And yes...if this leads to ALL pirate sites losing processing (file lockers, illegit tubes, file share sites, pirate forums, etc., etc.) then it will indeed be great sales for me again.

I made the most money in my life in 2007....far more than I made in the 90's and early 2000's (and I made a LOT back then too).
My money grew every year exponentially...until 2008 when piracy went into overdrive.

So yeah, I could EASILY get back to 1999 levels...and maybe within a couple of years get back to my 2007 levels again (around a million and a half dollars in net profit).

They're looking for specific models, niches and studios. Most often in combination.

Many of them are collectors too. Being able to download the content is very important to them.

Finding exactly what they want on a tube can be time consuming and/or impossible.

The file sharing forums direct them to downloadable files of precisely what they're looking for.

Take that away and the ones that used to pay will once again pay for that which they really crave.
