On the liquor license stuff, simply go through a broker, or do a rent to own deal, plenty of people with 4COP liquor licenses across the country that are not using them other than for an income stream.

AmLex.com is a good place to start, or go with a food & beverage license, it's $2500 a year but you have to have some creative accounting in place to meet the typical 51/49 split of food and beverages.

I wish it was that easy, they pretty much make there own laws and rules here just for me! They even admitted what they are doing to me is possibly illegal but they don't care. They also reminded me they have plenty of money to fight me as long as they want and I WILL NEVER OPEN ANYTHING IN NEBRASKA IF THEY HAVE ANY SAY IN IT?. I have email from the police chief that his job is to protect the citizens of Lincoln from people like me, all because I did an adult website with me ex wife.

Ok so I am paying the few people who missed getting there checks as we were closing the program! YES there were some rebills over time even a few now but very little. We had went months and months without updating the site as I had planned on closing it down so 95% of the members cancelled. I am not sure I will be paying out those few rebills that came in over the the last however many months most had like 1 rebill at best so I owe $10-$15. I am not trying to be rude or greedy! The site gets like a couple thousand people a day, almost everyone removed links and stopped sending traffic right away when we shut down. Melissa's name is big enough to get a few thousand people a day but that's nothing. Some months lately I don't even hardly make enough to cover NATS, Servers and what not. Some days we are lucky to get a sale or 2 and even then a lot are $1 trials. I started mailing our members list so I could make enough to try and get things going again. How is this any different than borrowing money off a friend, never paying them back, laughing about it, then needing a ride to the doctor and realizing that person is the only person who can help you so you pay him just to get to the doctor. Years later.

You do realize paying people back doesn't change that you stole from them. Unless they had no hidden agenda (and were stirctly doing it because they felt bad), then i could understand forgiving. But I notice in the last thread, he mentioned that he hopes people continue promoting or something like that, and also mutt just mentioned that he has a new model?

People here are idiots and forget real quick. No wonder so many people in this industry get burned

I have met with 4 different lawyers! You fail to understand Lincoln is not like any other place. It's like that crazy place out of the movies that you think to yourself that can't really be a real place. A group of about 20 people control everything here and they can stop you from getting anything they want. Here they have city ordnances that they pass to supersede all the state and federal laws. I did have a lawyer that said if I had a million dollars he would be willing to take it to the federal level and even maybe supreme court if needed but I don't have that kind of money nor do I have 3-5 years to fight it that he said it would take. It's not worth that to me but yes what they are doing it illegal but they don't care and at the end of the day I am the porn guy nobody cares...

People don't have to do anything for me, I am paying cause it's the right thing to do and I paid most of them long ago. There are very few people I owe money still! If people don't want to ever work with me again I understand completely...

You missed my point, *you* do not need to be named on the license as all you are doing is renting it off a 3rd party, the license is still owned by them, they just attach it to whichever property location you decide to open at.

Or even better still, open a corporation and have the corporation be the license holder...

Like i said, if you wanted it badly enough, you'd have been able to do something, that is what corporate veils are there for, to protect the company owners.

Paying people back IS the right thing to do. Giving the guy serious props for paying what he OWES to people? Yeah, not so much.

I notice freeones has a bunch of links up to Melissa Midwest. I'm guessing that's bringing him some nice traffic. Traffic I'm assuming he wouldn't have gotten had he not paid them. He's using THAT traffic to get funds to pay off lower tier affiliates. Once everyone is paid he should be making pretty decent money. There was a very self serving reason for him to pay people back in there somewhere I'm sure.

Had the guy had shown up out of the blue and handed freeones and/or everyone else their cash and walked away without asking any of them for anything in return, then the guy would have deserved the respect some of you are showing him.

The program has shut down before based on the "nature of the market and the acceptance for a solo girl site in today's marketplace"...

You will use affiliates again. And you are apologizing to be able to get them again and debating this with you is pointless considering nobody is going to admit to doing what i am accusing you of.

Thats interesting, opinions of people can only be had by ones that were ripped off? Where is the logic there.

People who rip people off in this industry affect almost everybody when they do so (indirectly). Not sure if youre intelligent enough to figure that out on your own but i run a program and i run an honest one and there is a TON of transactions made in adult build on trust. I pay my designers, grunt workers, do deals with photogs, etc - its all done on trust. When you have programs screwing people over, it makes a huge mark on the industry and people have to chagne the way they do business. For example, if i had started up with nats at the start, i dont even think i'd be close to as successful as i am now, because of all the programs that were ripping affiliates off. They simply stick to ccbill programs now. Solo Converts being one of those programs to rip people off and they had a similar name to mine as well, so that didn't help either. Treating affiliates like crap has an effect on everybody.

Nevermind that i am friends with alot of people you owe money to and its human nature to not want friends to be ripped off.

How you cannot think of examples like these by yourself and actually have to ask me says alot.

And you know what, even if it didn't affect me, i would still have an opinion and try to help people out in order to promote change.

Everyday, everyone gives opinions on things that dont have any immediate effect on them. Again, its human nature. Doesn't make their opinions hold any less weight. If anything, the opinions of those that aren't directly affected are less biased

It did almost a million gross one year so almost $500k clear but that was a good 5 plus years ago and I was working 100 plus hours a week for that. We had 3 pretty good years total not as good as that one but the more we made the more she spent lol. I mean I know these sites can still make money but I just wanted out of the business I lost the only girl I ever loved, friends, family and so on. I am still not 100% back but it's the only thing I really know how to do. I plan to have the new girl do whatever it takes and I think she will do it. I guess we will see!

AmLex.com is a good place to start, or go with a food & beverage license, it's $2500 a year but you have to have some creative accounting in place to meet the typical 51/49 split of food and beverages.
