or de listing? I did look, but it appears it is one big " cul de sac" ( run around). Are there any easy steps and links I can follow ? Any help will be much appreciated

Not sure that is what I need. This seems to be duplicating posts. I am talking about those pirate sites who post our stolen content and refuse to/ignore to comply with DMCA notices.
There was a thread about Google removing such sites from searches, but I cannot find it.

I'm interested in the exact opposite: dmca counter notice.
How do you guys handle that?

Several camgirls are filing dmca requests against my perfectly legit content (profile pics provided to affiliates in promo tools by the cam sponsor). This is frustrating to say the least as my pages get de-indexed. I noticed that if you want to file a counter notice then you need to enter your full name and address. I don't want to put up my details on the web for obvious reasons.

I have a "contact us" form and a dmca link on my tube but these models (or their agent) just go ahead with a dmca notice. They could be a company making money off models (those "we protect you" companies who file dmca in batches and make a ton of $ for copy paste), or it could be models themselves who are not seeing any difference between content they own and content the cam site owns. Or it could also be a competitor who just happen to make my life more difficult. At this rate anyone can de-index a site with that Google DMCA notice process. That's BS!

What a pain in the butt if you don't mind me saying so.

I have spoken to a number of ex adult models, who instead of videos, went into cams for ONE reason. Privacy and Anonymity. They were sold a bill of goods by the operators: " You will only be seen and interact with a client, and unless it is your grandpa ( mum, children,employer) NOBODY else will see you. Once the affiliate/pirate/reseller shit hit the fan, most are trying to clear their history. So except more notices and not less.

"Privacy and anonymity" is always preserved since only the cam site holds the model's real identity. Only the username is showing.

The pictures copyrights are held by the cam site, the models have agreed to the terms. I am not a pirate I use material that was provided to me by the cam site through an affiliate program. So the dmca is incorrectly filed.

Maybe I did not explain it correctly. It is not about copyright or real identity. In porn they also have stages names. It is all about somebody recognizes them while they troll for porn. If the model thinks that she is in a sort of " electronic booth" where nobody else, then the paying client, can see her and then her " action" shows up on every tube and a file sharing site her " electronic and very private booth" is NO longer private ( or anonymous). Anybody who scans for porn ( even her neighbours) can ID her. And as agreeing to terms ? Tell me how many 18 year old girls read the smartly worded clause 21 of their contract. None until they find themselvs next to the porn stars on the Internet.

That's just the game man, chaturbate gives you everything you need to make any kind of whitelabel or promo site you want but if the models want shit taken down you don't have any choice but to comply.

If it serves their needs chaturbate will shut down your account for using the promo materials that they provided you with. maybe it's bullshit, but that's the game you're in.

you're an affiliate, you have no power. you might think your shit is "perfectly legit" but it really doesn't matter to chaturbate or their models.

I don't "think my shit is perfectly legit", I know it is. So if models don't want to be indexed in Google why are they not also filing DMCA against the sponsor they work for?
Why not contacting the sponsor to request not to be included in promo feeds? Why filing dmca instead of contacting the webmaster?

Beside, models are affiliates themselves nowadays. So they can have sites but pure webmasters can't?

For the record, the dmca I got is not related to Chaturbate (though I am also an affiliate of theirs). cb actually has an option for models to opt out from the partner program and they don't supply any metadata nor profile pictures anyway. Furthermore, I don't think cb is a good place for models who care about their privacy and anonymity since it offers public shows.

So, maybe I am "just a webmaster/affiliate" with no power but my understanding is dmca is not just a box to tick for preference and convenience purposes, it is negatively impacting my work, and it has legal implications, potentially. I couldn't be bothered going down that road but technically speaking the model agreed to the terms and doesn't hold the copyright on those profile pictures and content going through the affiliate program. So I am entitled to file a counter notice if I wanted to.
Furthermore this is inconvenient for my online business, as you know it isn't easy to build a website and rank it.

One of the girls filed a notice on a listing page where her profile pic showed up, so she managed to de-index an entire page, just like that.

So in this case any competitor of mine could just go ahead and file dmca all over the place to de-index my site? seriously?

My take is they are confused as per what is allowed/fair and what is not.
Not allowed: recording shows, screenshots, unofficial material.
Allowed: using official promotional material

Use a pseudonym for the counter notices.

There is too little knowledge on the side of the models and dmca agencies about cb promo tools.
