Breadcrumb navigation question
Is it still considered a standard to leave the page a site visitor is currently on unlinked when using a breadcrumb type navigation structure on a page?
Any advantages / disadvantage of actually linking the current url in the breadcrumb text other than the potential SEO opportunity? So either this: Home > Sub Dir > Current Page Or this: Home > Sub Dir > Current Page Which option is still considered the norm and which do you prefer to use and what are the benefits (if any) of each? |

Instead of trying to pander to whatever Google may or may not want, pander to what users will want.
