Traumatic events like this take a long time to heal, and they probably never heal completely. Still, they don't kill you, and most people it happens to are able to lead lives that are otherwise quite "normal", enjoyable, etc.

I know both men and women who had experiences like this, and no, it isn't any easier for men than it is for women. And yes, everyone has a very hard time dealing with it. However, having a hard time dealing with something doesn't mean it has to determine your entire life, or even end it.

Think about the guy I posted about, the one who killed himself because his girlfriend dumped him. Obviously, everybody has a hard time when getting dumped by someone they love, yet most people are able to deal with it in some way - clearly, then, there was more that caused him killing himself than just this single event. (and in fact, there was... he was also suffering from clinical depression and a few personality disorders)

Although sexual abuse ofcourse is worse than getting dumped, the same thing goes here: if you kill yourself because of it, there's more wrong than just what happened to you.

An update from the news, the cops were looking into it, but with no one coming forward they couldnt make any headway till this evening.
He was beat to near death on the scene when he lured a 5 year old girl away from a picture with santa line into a side hallway where "mall rats" heard the girl screming and beat him to the point where he later died in hospital. A Custodian found him bleeding on the floor.
3 persons are in custody after one came forward. charges are pending, but will be lienient cause of them only wanting to help the child, and not meaning to kill the man who they did reconize as the pedo that was released not long ago. (made the front page of hte paper her)
Police are urging parents to keep a close eye on their children, and warm them about strangers.

If what you just posted is how it went, the guys who killed him should go free since they were in fact just trying to help a child, and it wasn't a random or premeditated act of violence or vigilantism.
The guy didn't deserve to die for it, but he should never have been released in the first place.

Ofcourse, there's also still the possibility that the story about the kid turns out to be made up.

JoesHO has said that he will make an event in Phoenix, it would be almost impossible in Las Vegas being that each fight requires heavy licensing, physical exams, etc.. etc...

Those requirments are probably to hold the fight in a casino..if its a a local boxing gym it can be considered "sparring contest" and i wouldnt think physicals and licensing would be needed

Wrong.. Bumfights was prosecuted for holding unlicensed fights there, they used it as a loop hole to get them.. Vigilante justice doesn't work for the better of society. It turns good citizens into murderers. And when mobs are the ones deciding what is right and wrong, innocent people get hurt more often (somebody posted an article in this thread where a group of people killed the wrong guy)

I believe pedos cannot be cured just like a straight man can't be "cured" from desiring women. It's the way they were born, unfortunately, and so I think they need to be locked up for good. It's better they're locked up than for them to destroy the lives of young children.

Until such laws are in place we should respect the law. The law is all we have to protect us. It's something we all agree to abide by for our benefit and for others. It's sacred and if we begin etching away at it we may return to pre 19th Century ways of behaving.

Vigilante justice is fantastic. I'm not sure what it's like now, but back when my dad was a kid living in Derry, there was heaps of vigilante justice. As a result, thefts, rapes, molestation, etc, were very uncommon.

Blowtorch justice works.
