I have been shot while bird hunting just like this situation. I was hit on the left side of my body, arm and neck. It was no big deal to pull the pellets out. But, I wasn't 76 years old with a bad heart either.

Cheney had his license, just not a new stamp that is required. They have been issuing warnings to others without them. No preferential treatment there.

And even if Cheney is charged with manslaughter for negligence

I don't like Cheney much or the Administration, but accidents do happen while hunting. I've been quail hunting, I might think twice now before going again. Attacking him for this is really partisan IMO.
