volume hosting - just curious...

First off, I am *extremely* happy with my current host ie: not looking to move. I pay 0.50/gig flat rate. Included with that is the use of 8 high end dell servers and 2 load balancers. I push between 64 - 66 TB/month.

I am simply curious to know what other quality/rock solid hosts could offer in terms of pricing (considering the very large volume of bw I use), for future consideration and/or negotiation.

thanks :)

quiet,

What are the specs on the 8 machines? If you'd like to go over some options, give me a ring.

How difficult is it to manage such massive bw costs without risking going into the red?

When your bandwidth cost is about 1/10th of your gross income it's not hard...

You can contact me. I am sure I can do something for you. We do mostly high bandwidth hosting, including TGPs and Movie Galleries. I can definately get you down to $.40/Gig or less considering the traffic you push. Also, we have servers that reliably push as much as 50 MBps sustained.

Here are my phone numbers as well: 408-209-8949 and 858-456-7378

66TB a month? Dayam. I use Cologroup and I'm most likely going to use 1800GB tops this month and I thought I was a heavy user. They're great so far. No downtimes and I dont think I ever saw a negative post on the board about them.

For terms and pricing on this kind of bandwidth you will need to call. But prohosters is solid as far as dedicated servers go. They have many customers on this board and can match that price or do better than that with class "A" 24/7 Tech support in real time.

You might want to give them a call 1-87-prohosters (1-877-764-0783)

If you get no answer hit me up on ICQ 4433144
