Luton has a large muslim population, that road where they marched is virtually all muslim i drive through quite often since i have friends in luton, every shop name is written in another language, but the vast majority are not extremists and there actions were shunned. Obviously there are going to be a few idiots, and i dont agree with what they held up but i do believe they have that right. because that's what it always is across the Muslim world. the prevailing attitude/loudest voice is that which supports this type of behavior and anti-western sentiment... even when coming from within your own country.

its that silent majority coupled with the vocal minority that has allowed radical islam to take over large parts of the middle east and Asia. pretending one doesn't compliment the other is a little silly.

at the end of the day, its about who is being heard. just as the basic principle of "Freedom of press" in the US is to ensure (although not perfectly) that both sides of an issue are heard... not having that other equally loud voice of opposition is the same as no opinion/opposition at all since the loudest and most heard viewpoint always has an advantage.

THOUSANDS of British-born Muslims have joined the Taliban in Afghanistan.



UK troops say they are facing a mini civil war as more Brits head out to fight for the enemy.

Senior officers said British-born Muslims from the West Midlands and Yorkshire have travelled to Helmand province and other parts of southern Afghanistan.

Interception of Taliban communications has revealed the sound of jihadists speaking with West Midlands accents.
