Many people have verified it... from Congress, to many people at the State level, and many "People" directly... from left to right. You can go look at it yourself at Obama's headquarters in Chicago, I'm sure you will have to call ahead first.

Personally, pictures of the raised seal is more than enough proof for me, more so when FactCheck.org is one of many to verify it.

With the birth announcement, I have seen a video of a man that owns one of the papers and the local library on the island has an original. We aren't talking a few copies, many copies that are exactly the same exist.

Besides being led by a woman who was born outside the US, I also find it pretty ironic that alot of people who are staunchly supporting this are the same people who a few years ago were talking about changing this very stipulation to becoming president to pave the way for Arnold Schwartzenegger to run.

Fair enough -- but what standard of proof will people who doubt Obama's citizenship accept? If it comes from a mainstream media source, that source will simply be impugned by birthers as unreliable, won't it?

Obama's citizenship has been proven to the satisfaction of the opposing party, and that party's candidate. It really isn't possible to prove it to the satisfaction of everyone; some people will continue to believe whatever they wish, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Personally, I think I can rely on the vicious, relentless nature of Presidential campaign tactics to uncover things like this. Never mind the Republicans, Hillary Clinton's campaign team would have been all over this if there had been enough evidence to support even a mere implication that Obama was not a citizen. We all saw how ambitious she was, how dearly she wanted to be President; she would have sounded the trumpets far and wide if she'd thought there was a ghost of a chance that Obama wasn't eligible for the office.

Some people are simply impervious to reality. I'm not saying you're one of them, but it sounds like you might be assigning too much credence to people who are.
