The tea baggers have a valid point and a big following, if they get bigger, they will be there own political group, they have regular meetings where I live. Mostly conservative veiws, but for the most point, they want some responsible government. Obama will probably get a second term because the GOP has Palin, although she has a lot of people on her side right now, she's a favorite target of the press, which is sad that the press try so hard to swing our votes.
I've registered myself as a independent with moderate veiws, I believe that the government has gotten too big , Has it got to the point the government needs extra taxes on sun tanning salons? That they are going to tell us what we can drink by taxing Coca-Cola ? That sounds like the reason we claimed independance from England.

Some interesting qoutes

But there are advantages to being elected President. The day after I was elected, I had my high school grades classified Top Secret.

Government does not solve problems; it subsidizes them.

If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program.

I'm the commander -- see, I don't need to explain -- I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being president

Using quotes from Republican's to justify you're crazy theory about President's and secrets doesn't make you any less crazy Neither does calling yourself a moderate independent (have you bothered to examine your own views that scattered across this 5 page thread?

You are just as crazy as the birthers. I would be willing to bet - that in the age of tabloids that we are in that millions of dollars and hundreds of off the record investigations have been conducted into Obama's birth. Are you telling me that Fox News producers haven't looked into this? The National Enquirer? Any one of the 100000's of Republican funded organizations? Operatives from McCain 2008 or Clinton 2008? Let me guess...it's either THAT GOOD of a cover up or everyone is on it.

Wake the fuck up dude.

Fox news has many other things to do right now than worry about this.
Crazy is sitting in acceptance and not willing to listen to theory. Accept and believe what they tell you, you will go far!

I didn't say that they passed it on my expert opinion. What happened is I was promoting the 10th Amendment sovereignty resolution. IE spreading the word about the need for it in my state and asking that everyone contact their representatives and the law office from her district contacted me asking me what it was all about. I told them what it meant and gave them a few examples. They contacted the Rep and gave her the resolutions, explained to her what it meant and she submitted one similar to one which another state had in the works. The resolution being passed is the only thing which is public record.. If I run across the email I'll post it if it makes you feel better..

Here's the actual bill and wording

A RESOLUTION to affirm Tennessee’s sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and to demand the federal government halt its practice of assuming powers and of imposing mandates upon the states for purposes not enumerated by the Constitution of the United States.

WHEREAS, the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States reads as
follows: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”; and

WHEREAS, the Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of federal power as being that
specifically granted by the Constitution of the United States and no more; and

WHEREAS, the scope of power defined by the Tenth Amendment means that the
federal government was created by the states specifically to be an agent of the states; and

WHEREAS, today, in 2009, the states are demonstrably treated as agents of the federal
government; and

WHEREAS, many powers assumed by the federal government and federal mandates
are directly in violation of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; and

WHEREAS, the United States Supreme Court has ruled in New York v. United States,
112 S. Ct. 2408 (1992), that Congress may not simply commandeer the legislative and
regulatory processes of the states; and

WHEREAS, a number of proposals from previous administrations and some now
pending from the present administration and from Congress may further violate the Constitution of the United States; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE

CONCURRING, that we hereby affirm Tennessee’s sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States. We also demand the federal government to halt and reverse its practice of assuming powers and of imposing mandates upon the states for purposes not enumerated by the Constitution of the United States.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a committee of conference and correspondence be
appointed by the Speaker of the House and of the Senate, which shall have as its charge to communicate the preceding resolution to the legislatures of the several states, to assure them that this State continues in the same esteem of their friendship and to call for a joint working group between the states to enumerate the abuses of authority by the federal government and to seek repeal of the assumption of powers and the imposed mandates.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution be transmitted to
the President of the United States, the President of the United States Senate, the Speaker and the Clerk of the United States House of Representatives, and to each member of Tennessee’sCongressional delegation.

Fred Thompson is a dumbass plain and simple. And I say that with him being a friend (i use that term loosely) of the family. Just like every one of these other pansies they put up there he's just trying to get his face in front of a camera and make himself out to be smart.

Why's that?
I thought he was well spoken, pretty mellow. He didn't really stand out during his campaign though
