Thanks for the kind words about debate, but as far as my first thought being to try and get the upper hand by name calling... naw, not much into that and I definitely appreciate the mutual respect. I am sure you have seen the type of women I am talking about and know this is true. Changing the definition of rape would basically be re-enforcing some woman's fears that they are at fault, that the authorities won't believe them and no one will be there to help them when they need it. US Laws are not perfect, not even close and I will acknowledge that there are the occasional male victims of false allegations. But that will not be fixed by redefining rape. In my opinion it is a short sighted knee jerk reaction for a completely alterior(sp) motive that has nothing to do with men's rights or the abuse of women claiming rape when there is none one final thing. The girl 1 and girl 2 archetypes that you mentioned. My own personal belief is that no woman 'is asking for it'. I understand the sexual game as well as the next guy but I do not look at a woman dressed like a "slut" and think 'oh yeah she wants it, she wants it bad' nope, I just think 'Hey, I'd like to get to know her better and maybe I'll get fucked'. i should add that women do lie about being raped, but what do you do about it? not believe the girl who really did get raped because she didn't fight back enough? only a small % of women even report a rape, making it more difficult to prove will only make even less report it. maybe thats a good thing in your eyes? sure its good if they are lying but if they aren't, society shouldn't force them to suffer in silence.
