No body can predict what is going to happen.

But don't kid yourself - Right now both sides are plugging in numbers and adjusting for possible scenarios trying to decide what the best course of action is. Both sides know the strengths and weaknesses of all candidates. Everyone knows what the Republican party needs to do to win, and Trump is doing just the opposite. No matter what political model you plug Trump into, he losses the election.

I hope he gets the nomination. I don't think too much of Hillary, but I think she would eat him alive when debating.

Political models, experts, and news anchors said Trump would be gone six months ago.

Not sure why people like yourself keep ranting on about old models. They obviously are not in play. Things have changed. 2008 proved that as well.

The Republican and Democratic parties still haven't figured this out, which is why Trump is where he is. Keep the wool pulled down over your eyes and you might be in for a real shocker next year.

Trump's statement was a qualified one;
Quote:
The press has to be responsible; they're not being responsible. We're losing a lot of people because of the Internet. We have to see Bill Gates and a lot of different people who really understand what's happening and maybe, in some ways, closing that Internet up in some ways.
''in some ways..." Whatever that might mean?

Google says:
Quote:
in a way (or in some ways or in one way)
phrase of way

1.
to a certain extent, but not altogether or completely (used to reduce the effect of a statement).
"in some ways television is more challenging than theater"

Translate in some ways to
Isn't the Internet a wonderful thing
used to reduce the effect of a statement
or to temper the bullshit and allow ''waffling'' space.

Politics as usual ...

And a lot of people are still questioning why he is still in the race, and why he is doing so well. At the same time a lot of the media is questioning if Trump has the basic ability to be President. The press never did this with Romney or Obama, or any of the other candidates. This man launched his campaign with "Mexicans are rapists". How the fuck is this possible?

They are always in play. Some models are more accurate than others, some times they are completely off.

I will gladly bet my next paycheck that all of the candidates have people tracking all of this - Each and every poll. They are posturing, exploring, trying to figure out what steps to take next - which side of each issue they need to be on, what states to visit next, what color ties to wear. The closer we get to the end, the more accurate these models become.

Reality doesn't matter to the far right (his supporters) it never has and never will. This has been shown time and time again when people believe bullshit because they "want" to believe it not because facts show it's true..

Trump says stupid shit that his crazy base "wants" to believe, so no matter how much proof is shown that what he says isn't true, they just make excuses and blame liberal media. It's just like Trump clearly making fun of that handicapped reporter on video then coming out the very next day and claiming he didn't. His supporters will deny he ever did a thing wrong and will convince themselves he dindu nuttins..

trump doesn't have a "base". and the far right is very much not on board with trump.

in fact, the gop base is threatening to hubert humphrey this election if TRump gets the nod. (give it to the dems and focus on local elections.)

Reading that was painful.

Trump speaks like he is trying to connect with fifth graders.

Perhaps that is why he is so popular on the right.

Yes, I want a successful business person.

The Clinton's have made over a hundred million in the last decade.

Trump would be worth billions more if he didn't touch his inheritance and just left it sitting on the S&P 500.

I want a successful business person as POTUS — not a failed businessman who has had to rely on bankruptcy four times in four decades.

The irony is try to start a group on FB where you'll be "politically incorrect" about any given minority and they'll close you right away.

Yet it's been proven that there are closed groups that actually celebrate all the successes of the Jihad warriors, including very graphic pictures and videos, and that are used for recruitment of new, many times underage members.

Recently read up an article about one of the mothers of ISIS recruits from Europe that was given access to such group in order to communicate with her daughter in Syria (the daughter is dead now).

I understand it's hard to police something as huge as FB, but try to upload a tit slip and you'll see how long you last. While promoting Nazism is outlawed (perhaps since it had to do with genocide), obviously promoting Jihadism which centers around killing anyone but Muslims is OK.

Obviously that's the politically correct way to deal with it, let them celebrate killing people.

that doesn't make any fucking sense. he's a developer, not an investor. it's ludicrous to exclaim if Trump had not been what he is he would be more successful because the s&p. a fucking fireman would be more successful if he wasn't a fireman but a Wall Street investor? fucking please.

and the bankruptcy comment is baseless. he owns and has owned 100s and 100s of businesses. the American fucking way is to work hard and don't let failures get in the way.

Looks like that's not a "poll"

It was a survey at Monmouth University.

The problem is we believe what we believe in.

Someone who believes in Trump doesn't seem him mocking a disabled reporter. Someone who support Hillary doesn't see where she did anything wrong with her emails.

I don't belong to either party (although I've been slanting towards Democratic these days). The past two Presidential elections I had Republican friends telling me their side was going to win up until the very end. I found this odd and comical; I thought it was pretty obvious Obama was going to win. The long term polls for both elections point towards a Democratic victory. (Here is a example.) We are seeing something similar now where if you compare Trump to Hilary, Hilary wins - by a large margin. Yes, the margin will go up and down over the next year, but we can already see an obvious trend.

Take a look at the recent polls: RealClearPolitics - 2016 Election 2016 Presidential Polls. Look at results for Monday, December 7th (yesterday) - It shows the Democrats winning in every scenario, and usually by a large margin. Trump VS Clinton, Clinton winning with a 11% margin? Granted, it's Telemundo, which means Hispanic, so take that with a grain of salt, but nearly every poll has the same result with Clinton winning.

Trump's biggest issue is he is saying what the Republican base wants to hear (Deport the Hispanics! Deport the Muslims!) but when it comes to the real election, the Republican base isn't what is going to decide the election - and what he is saying now will crush him come election time.

I love it when a politician reveals their complete stupidity on a subject.

He can't close the Internet.

Can he block sites promoting violence? Mo the NRA won't allow that. They need threats to sell guns.

Even his policy of keeping out Muslims is BS. It's easy to fake a passport.

Of course, if he really wanted to lower the risk of people getting shot, he would ban guns. It will take a while to see the effect, so banning the sale of bullets would help speed things up.

In London a terrorist slashed 5 people with a knife. In San Diego, a terrorist was able to arm himself in order to shoot 16. As for guns to stop people committing mass murders like these many tragedies, when was the last assailant shot by a member of the public?

These types of people are against closing terrorist sites. But say government isnt doing enough in all other aspects. And wish they had even more power to influence daily life.

Funny really.

New poll of likely voters: 68% of trump supporters would abandon the gop and vote for trump if he ran as an independent.

So much for that ridiculous notion Trump plays to the GOP base.

I'm just shocked that the media has their entire focus on how "dangerous" it is for Trump to call for temporarily stopping Muslims from immigrating or coming to the U.S. until the govt. gets this under control.

The way they are carrying on about something that should be common sense is as if he is more "dangerous" than the terrorists themselves.

I saw CNN's Jake Tapper today interviewing the Democrat House member who is one of two Muslims in Congress.
The Congressman went on and on about how "dangerous" Trump's "rhetoric" is.
Tapper asked him if he had heard any confirmation from intelligence sources about any ISIS people infiltrating Syrian refugees to gain access to the U.S.

The Congressman replied that with any large number of people you are going to have some "bad" ones.

So Tapper asked again if he had gotten any concrete intel on that...
The Congressman replied "No, but I'm not worried about that. I'm more worried about the dangerous rhetoric that Trump is spreading".

WTF?????

He's not worried about ISIS sympathizers killing people. He expects that to happen.
The only thing he's worried about is Trump.

And that is considered by the media to be the "sane" and "normal" viewpoint.
And Trump calling for a temporary ban on Muslims traveling to the U.S. or migrating here during this time that ISIS has declared war on us...the media says THAT is "dangerous" and "extreme".

It's quite funny how brainwashed you right weenies are.. It's sad we no longer have John Stweart to point out the Fox News "words of the day".

It's actually hilarious to see how these dumb right wing "buzz words" trickle down to the mass of ignorance..

Some Fox News anchor likely started saying "politically incorrect" as their buzz word for a few weeks and now suddenly every Right weenie on the net is using the term..

Previously it's been buzz words like "shill" or the logest lasting "liberals" or their biggest blunder "Obamacare" where they attempted to make fun of ACA but instead Obama took it an ran with it..

It's honestly funny watching you retards, it's why I start these topics, because I'm always amazed how long you guys will whine and complain or make excuses about stupid shit your talking heads do..

Watching you right weenies make excesses is like being a kid again, kicking over an ant hill and watching them scramble all over..

Yep sick sick pepple.

Trump explains muslims should be banned entry until the vetting process is better.

The government has 0 fucking clue who is a terrorist and who's not... but hey who cares about details!

Ban guns? Unconstitutional you dumb fuck.

Close the goddam borders, quit letting these 3rd world rascals in
I thought Freedom of Speech was part of the Constitution. Good luck closing ISIS related sites and yes I mean that. Getting rid of a lot of the trash that's online would be an improvement. Be careful someone doesn't think the same about porn.

As for guns. Relate this as a terrorist event and it's the worse since 9/11. As a mass shooting worse since 2012. If they hadn't been able to buy guns the casualties would have been lower. Even people on a No Fly List can buy guns. Can people on a terrorist watch list buy guns? As for changing Constitution, no biggy it's been done by making amendments.

They were U.S.-born Syed Rizwan Farook and Pakistan national Tashfeen Malik, and had an arsenal of ammunition and pipe bombs in their Redlands home.
So a ban on migrants wouldn't work. A far stricter control of guns would have worked. And worked to save the lives of 100s more, even the high number of police killing has to be related to their fear of people carrying guns.

I can see why Trump appeals to many, he's promising quick fixes to people who think he can deliver them.

Trump is playing to the people who believe he can solve problems way out of his understanding, or maybe he knows that and playing to people who don't understand the problems.

Banning all Muslims won't stop terrorist attacks. There are the US born and those already in the US Muslims.

How would you suggest banning Muslims who are born in Europe, Australia, or anywhere outside the ME? Assuming those bent on terrorism don't tell the migration officials they're Muslims!!!!

So the same people with 0 fucking clue will be getting a whole lot smarter because one man is in the Oval Office. Dream on.

Banning the sale of many kinds of guns, limiting sales to only those who can pass the same vetting process suggested for migrants. Would reduce the numbers of innocent people killed by huge numbers. Even police killing would be reduced after time. Police now assume suspects are armed.

Seeing as that's how most of the Modern World does it, I would say it's a very serious method. Of course, if you would rather pay twice the price for health care and education. Then that's how brainwashed you've become. It's not free, it's paid via taxes and works our cheaper and fairer. Tagging on free trips to Hawaii? free homes? free cars? free booze. Shows the weakness of your argument.

I can see why Washington is against both of these. It keeps a lot of people in fear and uneducated. Reserving it for the 1% and above.

Can you help me then?

If it's good to ban Muslims from entering the US. Should they be banned from buying guns, even US-born Muslims and white converts. Is this allowed under the Constitution?

Should there be no further gun controls. Because it's OK if people get shot by anyone except Muslims?

Just claiming someone is uneducated and clueless, opens you to the consequence of explaining your reasons. Can you, or will you hide?

The problem with Trump's proposals is it won't solve the problem. Entering the US as a Hindu, Christian or Athiest is still open. It's easy to get past to anyone determined. It does nothing to protect people from terrorists.

Whereas banning the sale of guns to all but those who can pass vigorous tests, which includes limiting the amount people can own. Protects everyone from getting shot by accident, in a mass shooting, or random shooting. It's not 100% and will take the time to see the results. It seems to outsiders that some Americans feel their rights to own firearms is more important than the 1,000s of innocent lives lost.

So long as the shooter isn't a Muslim.

But, a dead person is dead no matter the crazed reasoning of the shooter.

I still quite can't grasp what is going on, there were people killed by Islamic fundamentalists on US soil.

Every aspect of it (equipment, guns, exolosives, Saudi Arabia connection) implies a well organised act of terrorism, the probability of this being a work of an already established terrorist network operating in US is very high.

Yet the media try hard to make it seem as if nothing happened, politicians try hard to make it seem as if nothing happened.

I only hope this will make more people realize how incredibly fake, stupid, absurd and utterly dangerous this whole PC charade is. This mentality will only get more people killed.

Btw as always - the misinterpretation and one sided, biased commentaries are again going strong, somewhat ignoring the actual subject they're supposed to report about.

Except you miss the most obvious point.. The so called free healthcare obviously costs us money, but as every country in the world with free healthcare shows us.. It costs us less money in the long term. The cost per person drops dramatically once insurance co panties are removed from the mix.

The leading cause of bankruptcy in the US is because of medical bills and it's not because the people had no insurance.. The current system is broken and can not be fixed as long as drug companies can charge hundreds and even thousands for medications which cost dollars to produce.

A stay at a hospital doesn't cost tens of thousands of dollars in any other country in the world except the US. It's a fucking crime that people in this country who work their entire lives go bankrupt because of medical bills when they paid for insurance all their lives..

The system is broken and needsto be rebuilt from the ground up as a single payer healthcare system. The insurance companies who put profit ahead of healthcare need to be removed from the equation..

It saves the tax payers billions in the long run.. It's not socialism, it's common fucking sense and it's the fiscally responible thing to do..

For all of you "doorknobs";

ISIS (or any form of terrorism in general) has no free speech rights under the US Constitution. Speech that incites or conspires towards criminal acts is not constitutionally protected legal speech.

Billions of dollars in the US are transacted daily via the internet -- the internet will not be closed in the USA. Law enforcement can monitor internet communication for illegal activity and they do.

Demogogery PDF
Here is the manual for this sort of demagoguery -- Trump could of wrote the book ... Mein Kamf is also a good example of demagoguery's effectiveness.

Nothing else illustrates as much, who owns the US Government. And they don't plan to change. The saddest part is so many are anti-Government Healthcare because they think it will cost more.
