WillyB, I'm really sad to here this...He was one of my favorite people at Netsuprise. When we had issues over there WillyB was one of the people that was always cool. Last January in Vegas we hooked up for quite awhile and when he saw me getting my ass kicked at the slots he came over to cheer me up

I'll really miss him next January!!!

This makes me very sad to hear.

When I first started out 3-4 years ago, WillyB was one of the first guys I met. He used to hang in NetSurprise's old irc channel.

WillyB and Dokk is responsible for one of the best trips in my life.
NS gave away tickets to the show in New Orleans @ Dokk's radio show. I won, so me and my partner booked airplane tickets 30 minutes after we won, even though we were as poor as you could get.
1 hour later we finally figured out that we only won an entry to the finals where you could win 2 tickets to the New Orlean show hehe.

We didn't win the tickets, but we had 2 non-refundable airplane tickets to New Orleans....so it was just to go.

We had the best time of our life there and if it wasn't for WillyB and Dokk we would never have gone

never heard of him but it's very sad. I had a family member 2 family members, my aunt and uncle (husband and wife) that killed themselves within 2 months of eachother. I can relate on how sad and upsetting this is. My heart goes out to all of you that knew him and his family. And more so to his family.

May his twisted sad soul rest in peace.

Wow what a shock. I hadn't talked to WillyB in darn near a year last I knew he had gotten married and was either still living with or near Rowdy. I used to work in the real world at the same place as Rowdy then we all started doing this. WillyB had moved in with rowdy before he got married i had heard. I live next to and work in the town last I heard they lived in. I'm sure this will be in our local papers in the morning.

I don't know what to say- Willy B was always the first to welcome any of you to the Albumside chat room or netsurprsse nights with Dokk-

My condolences go out to all who knew him , and to all his family- Pattyecake, Lee Noga, Kaiser, Dokk, Kath. FM and so many more people who knew hi better than I-

He was a good person. Having a best friend who also committed suicide from hanging- I know how his family and friends feel...

I know that if people undestood and were able to see warning signs of manic depresion better we'd all have a lot of our friends still with us. As one who still feels a strong loss -they truly are in a better place, they lived through their own HELL ON EARTH-

My old therapist would tell me that, and also tell any of you ,that the pain and shock of loss turns to anger and guilt later on.

I am still angry at my friends, mackay and megan , sometimes people make bad decisions. bad decisions sometime are the result of a chemical imbalance . When those
two coexist it often spells trouble.

This is really bringing up a lot of repressed memories for me, Acually writing about this is my way of still grieving for friends
It makes me feel better to offer this to those who care about their loved ones or friends-

If any of you knows someone who likes to drink/ do drugs
for escapism and they withdraw from things they onces loved , ie (hobbies and friends) ask them how are they REALLY doing? Are they happy? is there anything you can do?

Sometimes it means a lot to people, and most people just don't know just how much.

I was completely floored when I heard as he used to be a regular at my old radio show WAY back. I'll admit it hit me a little harder than expected.

I guess it also lets us know how much we come to count on each other in the community. Being there is a part of that.

He will be sorely missed.

Willy was truly a prince and I'm so glad that I was blessed to have had him as a friend, both online and IRL.

And I am very, very proud of this community and it's members coming forward with their well wishes, stories of how Brad touched their lives and generally made this miserable existence more enjoyable.

It took me a long time just to put my hands on the keyboard and press the post button, I cannot think of a word or group of words to express accurately how sad I am or how bad I feel in my heart.

There are no archives or transcripts, it was just a party and get together we have done for a long time.

I wish I could have known in some way to help or prevent what happened to him, I didn't know, he didn't type anything to me that would have given me any clue. There were about 40 people there and nobody typed anything or said anything bad to him nor him to them, he just seemed like the regular happy willyb that I always knew.

Having a hard time dealing with this right now and am waiting and working until I can feel tired enough to sleep and maybe feel a little better when tomorrow comes.

- I didn't know WillyB too well... but he was a nice person... this is so so so sad... my heaert aches fro his wife... and kids... and extended familymembers... for those of you that knew him better than I - hugs go out to you.... news like this about one of us makes my heart flutter...

I'll have to spend extra time with my family over the next few days... hold them a bit closer...

I'll do something nice for Dora and the kids in a few days when I see what all has been organized and decide where my imput would be most beneficial to the survivors...

Dokk honey, there was NO way to know and you and Kre8tor were the folks he wanted to spend his remaining time with. After your show he stayed online and spoke to Kre until 2AM or so, and then went on to do what he had to do.

We always wish we could alter history, but forget that when we cross paths with others with whom you become their history. WillyB was with his two favorite people in the world, and because of that you both were there for him....feel good about that.

For those of you who were part of his last hours - cherish those moments. He was where he wanted to be, with you, his friends. He could have asked you for help, but chose not to. It is not your fault, and don't spend your time feeling guilt. He would have not wanted that. He would have wanted you to feel the the happiness and conradeship that he gave you, one more time. It is a very soul searching time, and you will always have that helpless feeling and wonder what you could have done different - but, it was his script - and he wrote it his way. Have peace of mind - he did this his way & you were just friends that he wanted to spend the last hours with. There are just some things that you can't change. We are all just human beings and not perfect in any way.

There are no archives or transcripts, it was just a party and get together we have done for a long time. I wish I could have known in some way to help or prevent what happened to him, I didn't know, he didn't type anything to me that would have given me any clue. There were about 40 people there and nobody typed anything or said anything bad to him nor him to them, he just seemed like the regular happy willyb that I always knew. Having a hard time dealing with this right now and am waiting and working until I can feel tired enough to sleep and maybe feel a little better when tomorrow comes.
