Why don't you just get the webair tech to install Zend Optimizer for you?

I have followed this guide, and I am having the following problem:

I am using TTT-C with Comus Thumbs, and when I build my gallery, everything seems to work well. When I view the tgp, the thumbs show up properly .. then this is where it goes wrong.

When I click the thumbs, it does work to get to the skimmed site, but when it is trying to go to the urls for the galleries, I am getting dns errors .. even though the url's are set up properly. I think I must have TTT configured wrong within Comus, but I am really not sure, here is what I have:

Trade Admin URL
http://www.sitename.com/cgi-bin/ttt-admin

Link Trade Prefix
/cgi-bin/ttt-out?link=text&pct=%lshave%&url=

Thumb Trade Prefix
/cgi-bin/ttt-out?link=thumb&pct=%tshave%&url=

in TTT, I configured my url, etc .. Also I am using the default templates in Comus, I was just testing before I tried customizing the templates, etc.

If anybody could help, I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks

Nope, these methods wouldn't work for a text TGP.

are text based sites not as profitable as say a tgp site, or is there just another method to it?

Honest truth is it depends on the webmaster at how profitable they are. Thumb TGPs are just an alternative method to Text TGPs.

This thread is awesome...helped me a lot....!

Two things...

I want to start a BDSM thumb tgp but I found only about 1000 FHGs...soo isn't it too little? Or do I have to make a smaller tgp...only 2 tables?

anyone got experiences with BDSM tgps? How many visitors do I have to expect in this niche? I thought about 30k - 40k?
Excuse my bad english, but I'm a Kraut... :D

You could have 3 tables of 30 thumbs which would be 90 thumbs a day. With a thousand FHGs you could have 11 days worth of new galleries.

I wouldn't know how much traffic you would have.

And after the 11 days? I mean there're not much more BDSM FHGs out there...
The 8000+ FHGs you mentioned in your 1st post are only feasible with popular niches like teen, amateur...etc...
Any suggestions for doing the whole thing with a not so popular niche like bdsm, hairy, toys..etc...I mean niches where're not so many FHGs available...

Recycle them after every 11 days. Surfers will never notice because thumbs from the different days are all mixed in.

Also wanted to add... you might want to look into accepting submissions. This will give you a fresh supply of galleries every day if you get enough submissions.

This is an awesome thread!

I just released my Gallery Database Tool

Check it out at:
http://www.howigotrich.com/hosted_galleries.htm

Galleries all have descriptions and categories!

You can get just the galleries you need in any format you require.

Yeah I thought about that...
How long dyou think I can work with the 1000 FHGs if I do 3 tables with each 30 thumbs? 1 month? 2 month? or longer?

You could probably run for a very long time . If you do best queries you could probably run forever.

But if you do today, yesterday, few days ago, etc... Im not too sure.

Wanted to say whats with the dumbasses lately contacting my on ICQ.

- I've had people demanding to know the exact amount of money I make and demanding that I show proof. If I didn't show them proof they said I wasn't making any "money".

- Had a guy bitching about buying traffic and his site not improving saying it was my fault. When I asked him what script trade script he was using he said he didn't know. They promptly demanded that I install the script for them because it was my fault I didn't go into detail with selecting a trade script in my guide.

- I've had several people bitching about not making any money after using the guide. Course your not going to be making money if all you did was follow the guide. Its up to you to learn marketing. I wrote a small walk through to build a TGP not a crash course in economics/marketing.

- Hell I've even had people bitch at me because they couldn't figure out how to setup their server. You don't get an unmanaged servermatrix box if you don't know what your doing. This person demanded that I install all of the needed software because it was my fault for recommending server matrix...

I say learn the biz. Learn how everything works then ask questions after you've actually done your research.

I am not here to grab your hand and walk you through...

BTW I don't work for any of the companies I've recommended. If you gota problem bitch to them

Yeah you gotta stick your site html in the template so comus can modify your page every build.

If your new site doesn't have thumbs or don't want the thumbs managed by comus theres no need.

Hi,
I'm very new to Comus.
can anyone tell me where exactly do i put those macros on my html? Somewhere in the <head> or in the table where the thumbs are supposed to appear?

And second - when i import galleries do i just copy paste the URL in the bulk import section?

thanks

can anyone tell me where exactly do i put those macros on my html? Somewhere in the <head> or in the table where the thumbs are supposed to appear?

And second - when i import galleries do i just copy paste the URL in the bulk import section?

thanks
You place the macros in the head and place the queries where you want the thumbs to appear. Then you stick all of that into the "page" template and hit build.

Yeah, you can just cut paste galleries into the bulk importer.

Ok, like I said in my previous post I'll help with some marketing.

This one is easy. Alot of people have there skim set so high that most people don't ever go to a gallery. This is a bad thing if you don't have alot of banners or advertisments on the page. What your doing is just wasting traffic.

- If you have a high skim where people don't go to galleries very often you might want to stick an advertisment at the top of your page. A row of thumbs saying "Free Preview" or a huge banner would do it.

- You can also take another route. Place first click to thumbs and lower your skim to 50. This way your visitor will always get a gallery first. After that if they're not interested in a gallery they'll click on another link which takes them to a trade and you get a fresh visitor. They click again then they might go to another gallery...

Sorry don't really know of any that don't use perl, linux or unix...

Maybe you should start looking for remote hosted scripts like xclicks and clickzs.

Here you go both of these a remotely hosted free trade scripts with a thumb feature. I think clickzs has a text feature.

I think you should check out gallerycash. They have alot of the links with descriptions and rotate them daily.

You know what I made a mistake about clickzs. Checkout Xclicks.net for trade/thumbmanager.
