I'm happy and sad at the same time. Happy England didn't get it because it would have been a farce, with lots of trouble as the England fans are violent fucks.

Sad because being from Scotland, I would have loved to go to a few world cup games and see some of the best teams in the world playing so close to home.

english fans aren't that bad anymore. the last major trouble in england was when rangers fans rioted in manchester, and they're scottish aren't they?

anyway some of the worst fans in the world now are russian and they won it, coupled with some of the worlds most corrupt police, racism, mafia, no stadiums built yet, 1000's of miules between stadiums etc etc. england had a far better bid than them but lost it because the british press exposed fifa for what they are, corrupt. the sooner batter dies and fifa get a shake up the better.

Rangers fans are scottish yes. However, you put 50,000 of any counties fans be it english, scottish, german, russian, spanish whatever in a sealed off area to watch the game. Then with 5mins before one of the biggest games ever they loose the signal to the live feed. What do you think is going to happen??? I don't care if its football, american football or rugby shit would hit the fan.

I'm glad we didnt get it, some of the stipulations were dangerous, such as the requred law changes to help the official sponsors (which explains why those Dutch girls got arrested in the last Cup)
