HELLRAISING actor Charlie Sheen was finally sacked from hit sitcom Two And A Half Men last night - after months of bizarre behaviour.
The 45-year-old - who has told The Sun he has no regrets - got a letter from Warner Bros telling him his contract had been terminated.

He had been America's highest-paid TV star, raking in £770,000 per episode. Charlie said last night: "This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales.

"It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."

The madcap star yesterday reached the milestone of more than two million Twitter fans. He updated his profile to describe himself as an "unemployed winner".

True, but the problem with that is...they developed the character he plays on the show from his REAL life. If you watched his interview with Piers Morgan on CNN and then saw Morgan talking about the interview later...Piers flat out said that he's known Charlie Sheen since the early 1990's and he is exactly the same way now as he was then.

Piers said "Charlie didn't change...societies PERCEPTION of him changed"

Bottom line is that he had a fight with the show's producer. Then the producer put a end line on one of the shows a few weeks ago that said: "If I don't outlive Charlie Sheen I'm gonna be pissed"

THAT is what set Sheen off.

I have a feeling that Warner and CBS are going to pay him a lot of money after his attorney's get through.

He isn't playing his character on television...the character was written about HIM. He's been a party/hellraiser for decades. That's why they wrote the character in the first place.

This is a power struggle by a producer.

Then he shot off his mouth and got his own ass fired.

You have a lack of understanding of what the clause is meant for.

See the actual TV show is playing to an audience that is suspending reality.
The TV character may do drugs have sex and commit murder.

That is acceptable because it's all fake and the audience knows it.

Giving other people drugs in real life is not fake and could lead to his arrest and
jail and then he can't do the show anyway from his jail cell.
So firing someone headed that way is not hypocritical, it's good business.

Keep you personal life out of the studio and keep your studio character out
of your personal life.

You also have to understand the economics of a TV show. No show lasts forever and most popular shows are canceled not because the ratings drop significantly, but because after years of success, the actors/writers/producers make so much money that even a slight drop in ratings make the show unprofitable because the costs of producing the show.

Two and a half men only had a few seasons left anyway before it collapsed under it's own weight. So CBS swaps out Sheen with another actor and keeps going. Sure, people will say they won't watch but every TV show that changes a character keeps on going and the fans still tune in. So the show can very possibly be MORE profitable now that Sheen is out. Trust me, I am sure they did the calculations and came to the same conclusion.
