Does Anyone Even Work At SubmitPasses Anymore?

Has anyone else seen a drastic difference in the level of service lately? It's just incredible to me how slow they are these days.

If anyone from GTS or SubmitPasses actually works in the office anymore, how about answering your phone sometime or ICQ.

I have at least one pass expiring tomorrow, that needs to be processed and was already paid for and is now at risk of expiring. Not to mention the other passes ordered, and paid for, but not even so much as placed in the "pending" queue for the site owners to review.

Really, what the heck happened at SubmitPasses that has turned the response times to such ridiculously poor levels to what they used to be?

Quagmire: Yes, I know. I'm at a point now where I am soon going to bypass the process altogether and start dealing directly, or go through another service that seems much more able to get things processed in a timely manner.

You canot call SP any more -- no one ever answers the phone. Email them today, you *might* get a reply tomorrow.

Hopefully one of those who works there will see this and get things processed.

The person handling SP these days is at the cottage for the summer. Clearly she has priorities in life, and maintaining a floundering business is not one of them.

Ahh, then this would explain the ridiculously slow service lately. And also explains why no one ever appears to actually be in the office anymore -- certainly none of the times I have tried.

I have to wonder if some of the sites that would not deal outside of GTS be more inclined to reconsider doing so given that the level of diminished service would likely affect their bottom lines as well.

I loved Crystal, the first bad sign for me was when she left. Later Devin helped me a lot, he was always very helpful even when I was complaining and whining
Than he left too and since its a dead mic - imo..

Don't be shy, contact the TGP owners directly and ask for a custom deal for multiple months (and maybe passes ) and you'll be surprised on what price will they give you.

If its not your cup of tea, hit up Devin, I am pretty sure he still has owners on his ICQ and can help you making a good deal for cheap.

Nowadays I am only paying for VideoPost [The Best Dudes from NL, but for some reason they really won't sell anything directly...] and Titan [I am lazy to contact them and have not that good experiences] via GTS, everything else I use is direct deal.

Matyko, my problem is I paid via ePass VISA versus my on-file VISA, so it's not like I can just ask for a refund. I'm basically stuck now until someone there gets off their ass and processes the orders after already accepting payment.

But yes, once Crystal and Misty left, it really has not been the same level of service beyond Devin. And with him no longer there either, the "service" is just amazingly slow.

Ooops, my bad: email Mark. He is still active on the boards, maybe he can give you a refund or can handle the situation properly.
Even if things go slowly GTS is NOT scammers, so no need to worry.

Btw you can email the site owners as well where your passes expire complaining about the service of GTS.. and asking for a non broker price ;)

I realize GTS are not scammers and I have dealt with them for years,m and I was certainly not intending to imply that. I am just really displeased with the service, or lack thereof, in recent weeks. And with the exception of the Free6 fiasco, I've never asked for a refund. But I am awfully close to doing just that and just going elsewhere or going direct, as you suggest. the "convenience" factor is simply not there at this point to continue with Submit Passes.

That said, I'll see just what Mark can do today via email.

To Mark's credit, he was pretty prompt in replying to emails yesterday.

That said, a resolution was reached early this morning and I am fully satisfied with the outcome.

Yep, I used to run Submitpasses, which is what makes this all so funny and sad at the same time. I saw the writing on the wall and left before the company started to implode.

Nobody had to chase me down for assistance. But that being said, I was actually in the office every day working and available by ICQ, email and phone.

I can attest to this, as was with Devin and Rich as well. Always someone available. Even accounting was also always available really fast via Misty and Crystal, including phone, email and ICQ.

Perhaps I was simply spoiled.

In any case, back to business I guess, and I am satisfied with the resolution received.
