Just on the news.100's of computers,files,tapes and 4 guys arrested.Apparently these guys were pretty big in the bizz. Made millions per month.According to the press release the cops couldnt discuss the porn as it was too discusting.A woman claimed she was raped and tortured during a shoot.Sweet Entertainment was based in Vancouver and looked like a big sponsor, although I havent heard of them

Is this true? Anyone else can confirm this?

Diverse Talent Agency was started when their reputation got so bad they couldn't fin models for anything...then they tried to tie them down to Diverse only... and all other photographers had to go through them. I am heading up to Vancouver tomorrow to meet with our lawyers. Unfortunately, the Sweets have pushed the limits in content they have shot. They are not exactly smart business people at times and do not know when to back down.......

No doubt this will bring alot of heat on ALL porn companies in Vancouver and all should be prepared thanks to the Sweets. It is pretty well known that fisting, hardcore bdsm, peeing on people, needles, etc is not kosher in Vancouver. Not sure why they felt the need to test the "law".

I heard news of this last week from my people in Vancouver, took some time to hit the press. (we produce more porn in vancouver than anyone)

But, now the press is ALL over it, and this is ALL over TV. Anyone familiar with the situation will tell you that the Sweets brought alot of this on themselves and that this is NO surprise. This started with complaints from models to the police, and the investigation was launched.

Personally, I am surprised this did not happen sooner as they had been under investigation for some time.

Agreed Bradshaw, it all depends on the community you live in. Guess it didnt fly in Vancouver.

All the videos I produce, I send to the local film boards to ensure the legality of it and see what parts I have to edit to make the scene acceptable. Anything to keep my hairy ass out of jail :)

This is rediculous, how are you supposed to know if what you are shooting is legal or not - I don't know too much about sweet, the way they were treating their model, but...

I've been in their studios last summer and the RCMP (federal police) was spying on them. We saw a couple RCMP cars driving around noting our license plate number, etc.

Mojo, everyone should consult their own lawyer. I know we used to run a peeing site, took it down based on our lawyers advice a long time ago....
